Alexander and the survivor he met in the end of bridge chose to ran and shoot zombies trying to save themselves from death itself. After they found a good place to rest for a while, they barricaded the front door with the furniture they found in the room and they spoke to each other.
"Hey, I'm Alexander. Might I ask what is your name miss?" Said the man who tries not to spoil the atmosphere.
"I'm Andrea, nice to meet you Alexander." the woman replied in such gentle yet cold tone of voice.
Alexander asked Andrea from where she come from and how did she ended up in the end of the bridge. Andrea answer those with the same low tone of voice but with melancholic residue to the ears. She came from a small 𝓓𝓘𝓢𝓣𝓡𝓘𝓒𝓣, a lively area where most people from other provinces visited the most due to their needs and wants. She rented an apartment in there for it's low-price yet cozy room and near to her work at the office building just few blocks away from it. Apparently due to the chaos that have been struck on the world, her boss immediately gave it's workers a time to leave the work behind and do everything they can before anything could go wrong. But the time was a bit late, the zombies reached the area started chaos around it. She found a left crowbar from a nearby Hardware store that she used to survived the zombies. She chose to run away from the said area to which she thought reaching the other side of the Bypass bridge would grant her guaranteed survival. But all was shattered when she saw the people slowly being eaten, that's when she ended up in the end of bridge rethinking to herself whether she choose to live or die.
After Alexander heard of that, he gave the woman a sudden embrace to comfort her and to give her small hope that there would still be a peace within the chaos. The woman's tear began to fall as they embrace each other's body, comforting themselves to clear their minds and to give hope for each other.
"Don't worry, I understood how you felt when that happened for it happened to me too." Said Alexander to the woman whilst wiping her tears away.
"Thank you Alexander" the woman replied with a sadness and sorrow in her voice as she let him wipe the tears away.
Soon as the two are well rested, they both removed the barricade on the door and started fend off some zombies. They seek some sustenance and ammo for the guns Alexander have brought along.
All the rooms are looted and they are ready to proceed towards a new location where they thought of finding a new survivor or a new area to stay. Running towards another bridge which connects the Tunnel to 𝓓𝓘𝓢𝓣𝓡𝓘𝓒𝓣, they heard loud and terrifying noises from the zombie horde that have awaited their arrival as if they knew those two survivors will come out.
They shot and fended the zombie horde and continued to run to the tunnel which made them thought once more, "𝓗𝓸𝔀 𝓭𝓲𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝔃𝓸𝓶𝓫𝓲𝓮𝓼 𝓯𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓲𝓻 𝔀𝓪𝔂 𝓽𝓸 𝓭𝓮𝓯𝓮𝓪𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓶𝓲𝓵𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓻𝔂 𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓾𝓹𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓶𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓿𝓮𝓼?" Destroyed and debris of shattered stone barricades with bloody crashed cars presented in their very own eyes as they proceed to walk towards the tunnel.
After a few blocks away from the Tunnel itself, a loud echoing cry rang in the tunnel.
