Story of survivors who were searching for answer and truth behind the Apocalypse that turned the world upside down in a mere seconds filled with terror, screams and cries as all people slowly turn into living dead.
Alexander and Andrea proceeded in the Tunnel despite the loud echoing cry that rang around it. They chose to see who or what made that sound, after walking inside the tunnel searching for someone or something related to the sound, they eventually found the cause of it.
They both found a woman crying at a corpse of a child and man which are not eaten. As they step closer the woman who mourns over the corpses pointed a gun at them glaring at them as if they are to be avoided.
"WHO ARE YOU! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?" The mourning woman screamed in aggressive tone.
"Please do calm down, Im Alexander and this is Andrea. We are both survivors who got caught in here too." Said Alexander who tried to calm the woman down.
"Are they your husband and child?" Andrea asked towards the mourning woman that made her tremble in shock and cry silently.
"Y-yes, THEY ARE my Husband and child. If it weren't for those traitors...This...This two would live and stay with me." The woman replied as she cries in sorrow of loosing her beloved husbandand child.
Eyes widen and mouth left slightly open when they both heard such tragic scene that has occurred without them knowing who betray the woman mourning in front of them.
"Might I ask who are you, and who killed your family if I am not being so offending, ma'am" The man who is in shocked earlier asked.
"I- I- I'm Sandra, and those who killed my husband and child are some survivor who tried to steal some sustenance from us. T-they ran out of sustenance in which have led them to threaten in killing my child. T-they took my child and pointed the gun at him saying If we didn't comply then it's my child's end." She breathe in and out heavily as you swallowed dry painful thorn in her throat continuing to tell them all.
"My husband, he tried to fight back at them but they shot him in the chest. I- I- told them to leave my child in-exchange for the sustenance they are seeking out. They get what they need but the still killed my child." The woman cried more and more.
Andrea come and comforted the mourning woman who felt like she's being punished by the Heaven's. After sometime the woman calmed down and they started to talk about the area that awaits through their arrival. Within the District she said that the a group a survivors are in there and they are guarding it with all of their strengths. The two still didn't back down so they all seek for sustenance in case that the other group of survivors won't let them have a small supply of it.
Before they walk towards the entrance Alexander and Andrea choose to bring the corpse with them in hope of burying it, so it will at least have some peaceful rest. Walking towards the entrance of District, a former busy yet peaceful area have been filled with piles of zombies either shot or decapitated off with it's head, A group of unusual survivors that wore a black thick leather armor carrying a gun alongside with them approached the three.
"What is that corpse you are holding Man and Women" Said the masculine yet feminine voice of a woman who belongs to the group.
"It is a corpse of my husband and child that have been killed by fellow survivors, we are hoping to find a spot so we can bury them and let them rest in peace" Sandra replied trying not to sound as if she mourn for hours.
"Hmm...So be it, You can bury those corpse in that side left area of the convenient store at the gas station one" The man who seems to be their leader spoke with low tone of voice while pointing where is the said location.
"Thank you" Said Sandra who quickly go with Alexander and Andrea to proceed burying his husband and child.
As they walk towards the area Sandra checked if there is a stick or some woods they can use to mark the burial area of her family, suddenly the woman who spoke first earlier with them gave her a 4 pieces of 1 inches sticks.
"Here, use it to mark the burial area of your family. I will ask someone to carved your Husband and child's name to finish it with at least an appreciation for them" said the woman with masculine voice.
"thank you very much" Sandra replied with all of her heart towards the woman who walked away to find who needs to finish the job.
Some time after digging and cover the corpse, they finally tied the sticks together forming a Holy Cross sign and the woman with masculine voice gave the sign wrote with Sandra's husband and child's name. They placed the sign and left a prayer offering for the two, after that they left and the Man who acts like the leader of the survivors asked for their presence.
"I have requested the presence of you three to spoke with you if you want to stay or wander some more to find new areas which will make you comfortable" said the man who still haven't introduced himself.
