Accidents Happen

Chapter 3- Kat's POV

What the fuck just happened? I thought. We were just sitting at Ellis's table smoking and playing Monopoly and then Ollie just...

She..murdered someone. Not just anyone but her sister. Ohmygodohmygodohmygod I thought over and over again as reality sank in. 

Ollie killed Lia. She killed her twin and then ran out the door screaming like a madwoman. I guess she was seeing as how she just took someone's life. I mean seriously what the fuck  just happened here? One minute everything was fine and the next Ollie and Lia were covered in blood, Ellis was keeled over on the floor from the punch and Lyssa was standing in shock. 

I made eye contact with Lia right when she fell forward, her knees buckling from under her. Lyssa jolted into action to catch her, looking at me with wide eyes. I shook my head in dismay. 

"Call an ambulance!" Ellis screamed, waking me from my thoughts. 

"Oh shit yeah okay. Okay. It's fine Lia you'll be fine." I muttered. I don't know who I was trying to convince more, her or the rest of us. 

Lyssa cradled her head while grabbing a pillow, placing it gently under her neck. "We have to apply p-pressure to the wound I think. Yeah. That's supposed to help with the bleeding right?" She look to Ellis for an answer who was shaking his head while running his blue-black nails through what little hair he has. 

Lia was slowly bleeding onto the floor while tears fell from her cheeks. I finally hung up with the operator who said they were sending an ambulance right away. 

The pale girl tugged my hand with what little life she had left. Lia knew she was dying, but for once she seemed at peace. I leaned down to hear what she was saying- "Tell Ollie I forgive her. It's...n-not her fault", she said taking a deep breath-"It was Scar, not my sister. I f-forgive her. Tell her that Kat. Promise me." 

I looked down at my best friend, watching her soul liquify onto the tan carpet of Ellis' house. "I promise" I said. "Promise." 

With that Lia peacefully closed her eyes, and fell asleep. Her chest slowly stopped moving, and Lyssa checked her pulse. She shook her head and wiped a tear- "She's gone..." 

What do we think so far? Short chapter I know.
