Error's POV

Ink, my wife, sat on the couch while watching me play a video game on the TV. The living room was silent with only the sounds from the television.

I heard a groan from my left. Looking in said direction, I saw our son, Gradient, shifting positions in Ink's embrace. Ink smiled before lightly petting the top of Gray's head. A smile grew on my face.

Ink: He's so tired.

Me: He is. I'll carry him to bed.

I set the controller on the coffee table and stood up. I carefully lifted up Gray, beginning to move him to his bedroom. Ink followed after me.

The halls were silent as we walked towards the bedroom. Ink held my arm and was deep in thought.

There was a quiet creak that sounded from the Gradient's room door. I softly laid my son on the bed. Ink pulled the covers over him before kissing Gradient's forehead.

Ink and I began to walk out when we heard the soft voice of our son.

Gray: Mama?

  Ink immediately turned around.

Ink: Yes, baby?

Gray: Can you read me a story?

Ink: Yeah.

Ink sat on the side on his bed after pulling a book from nightstand. I sat on the floor and leaned against my wife's leg. I closed my eyes, listening to the words that came out of Ink's mouth.

(Time Skip)

Soft touching on my shoulder made me open my eyes. Looking up, I saw Ink smiling at me. He began to whisper to me.

Ink: He's asleep.

I stood up, stretched and yawned. Gripping Ink's hand softly, we walked back to the living room. I continued my game after we sat back on the couch. My wife silently watched me while laying in the corner of the couch.

Suddenly, Ink sighed which caught my attention.

Me: What's wrong?

Ink: Nothing.

I placed the controller on the table before resting my body against him, making sure not to apply pressure to Ink's stomach.

Me: Tell me... please.

Ink: How will we tell Gray that he's going to have a little brother?

Me: We just do. He kinda has to accept it as there's no going back. The little one is already here.

I calmly said as I rubbed Ink's abdomen. Ink nodded, going deep into thought.

Ink: I've come up with a name.

Me: What?

Ink: PaperJam. PJ for short.

Me: ...
