Snakestar padded around restlessly in his den, his own daughter was a prophecy..Why his own daughter? And why just Silverkit? He shook his head and stared at his Medicine Cat helplessly.
Meadowfeather sighed and looked at the silver-pelt, "Starclan work in very mysterious ways Snakestar, you of all cats would know this." She stared at the tom, a secret passed from her gaze, something that even Starclan refused to speak of.
Snakestar nodded, knowing the Medicine Cat had never approved of his first litter: Adderpaw and Ivypaw. He sighed and padded to the Nursery, hoping he'd get Sageblossom to come hunting with him.
Silverkit popped up out of the nest and leaped onto her fathers back, biting his scruff, "Grr! I'm a MistClan warrior!" She lost her grip on his scruff and fell on the ground with an ooph.
Snakestar laughed and picked the little she-kit up and sat her in the nest, "Whoa there little warrior, go play with the others."
Silverkit nodded and scampered off to the others, tail high in the air with pride.
Sageblossom purred, her eyes lit with amusement, "Reminds me of a young Snakestar." Her whiskers twitched with laughter.
Snakestar smiled, but sighed, "Come hunting with me, the kits will be fine with the other queens." He looked at her, his eyes pleading.
Sageblossom nodded and followed her mate, telling her kits to stay in camp, they went hunting.
