Freya felt tired and bored. This infirmary never helped any injuries, it made them worse. She had never been able to come here without feeling worse than she already did. Her opponent had been passed out cold for the past few hours and all she could do was sit here and listen to his snores because the nurses or guards wouldn't let her leave. Why not? The only problem with her was her knee had been popped out of place and they needed to pop it back in but the "nurse" left for "more important duties" so all she could do was sit here hopelessly waiting, in pain and boredom.
Meanwhile, the boys had been working with their "prisoner disciplinary chores" such as working in the field and since they were all kids they all had to go to the library for three hours and read. That is where they currently were right now. "Why hasn't Freya came back yet? She never takes this long. And she never gets banged up that bad. Did you see her? She could barely walk!" Oliver said with a worrisome tone. He was the worry-wart of the group. "Oli, it is ok. I'm sure she is just taking a little longer because the nurses had to take care of the guy she absolutely humiliated. She was awesome. Don't worry about her." Milo said with a reassuring tone. He was good at getting him to calm down. "Yeah, Freya wouldn't lose to someone like him." Josiah said. "Keona? Are you okay? You seem like steam is coming out of your face." Josiah said. "Huh? Yeah it's just I've never cared about schoolwork so I have no idea what this is." Keona said, a bit embarrassed. "How do you not know what geometry is? It's practically just shapes." Josiah said. Neither one of them were the smartest of the group. "Geometry is much more than just shapes, Mr. cool guy. Obviously that tattoo ink has somehow seeped through to your brain." Milo said, he often joked and played with Josiah. That's what made their friendship dynamic iconic though, they could pick on each other and still get along. "Has not. I hope." Josiah said back and then they all went back to work. They all worked on History, geometry, world economics and science before it was time for them to return to the field, it had been two hours and they still hadn't seen Freya. Where was Freya?

She was cold, tired and confused. When she was about to leave the nurse said she had a procedure she wanted to do on Freya knees to make them heal faster but now Freya couldn't walk, she could barely even hear herself think and she knew this was the wardens doing, a prisoner who can't work, can't stay. They wanted her to be the next victim of the warden and she wasn't having that. She was going to escape this place with her friends and she would be a fool to sit here and let her treat her like this. Freya gathered all the energy she had left and picked herself up. She limped and her knees hurt but she was going to get to the field no matter what. Her knees had two scars, one for each knee but she pushed through the pain, she had been through worse. She could handle this, even if she didn't want to. It took her fifteen minutes to get to the field when it was only a two minute walk but once she got outside, barely standing She saw Josiah already running to her and picked her up before she could say hi. "Freya? What happened to you! You look like you're in worse condition than when you left!" Josiah said. He was worried, and she knew it. "I'm fine Jo, they just tried to get me gone and I wasn't about to let them get rid of me." She said back. The boy gave her a smirk before saying "that's my girl. Now, let's get you to the hideout the team has been wanting to see you. Oliver's about lost his mind over worry." He said as he walked through the field of prisoners, with the girl in his arms. "Oliver shouldn't worry about me. Milo is gonna cuss me out for making him worry, isn't he." Freya asked. She knew the two cared about each other. "Yeah, most definitely. Once we get there I'll help clean your knees. The darn nurses did nothing but hurt you." He said, but he noticed the girl was exhausted. "Freya, rest. We will take care of you." He said with a sad smile. Her eyes were dark and the shine was no longer there. "Ok..jo. Don't let the team over work themselves. Wake me up later?" Freya said. Before Josiah could reply, the ginger haired girl was asleep in his arms. She was batted and bruised but she still fought. Josiah swore that she was stronger mentally and physically than any man he has ever met.
