Chapter 17

Jungkook POV

I was excited, nervous and happy. I was going to confess my feelings to my long time love nothing can be more excited than this. I happy excitedly tapping my fingers on the counter waiting for the food to arrive. When the food arrived I took it to our table. Going to the table I realized that Minnie was missing. "Where is Minnie?" I asked. 

Yoongi hyung pointed to his right and I saw the scene which broke my heart. I was witnessing the same scene which I witnessed 11 years back in the library of our school. "I missed you soooo much. I called you sooo many times but you didn't pick up." She said. 

I was a fool to think that she had feelings for me, she always thought of me as a close friend but why did she give me hope? Why did she make my heart flutter? Were the memories, the nose kisses and our first kiss meant nothing to her? 

I felt tears forming in my eyes then she looked at me but the eyes which made my heart flutter made me sad today. I could not take it anymore, keeping the food tray I ran away ignoring the calls. I don't know where I am going but I just want to go, go far away and run away from her.

Shruti POV

He suddenly kept the food tray and ran away ignoring everyone's call. 'Did he misunderstand me and Ryan? Does he like me? I have to get him' "Let's meet later sorry I am a bit busy." I said and ran to follow him but I lost the track of him. 

I had no other choice but to search everywhere because I know he will not pick up the calls. I then remembered something. We always went to the park beside our house because it was quiet and calm. 

I might look like and extrovert but I am an introvert as well. I like quiet places without many people and same goes for him. I went to a place where it would be quiet and calm. I walked and walked till I reached a park. I went in and saw him standing with his back towards me and his shoulders were shaking. 

I went to him and hugged him from the back by his waist. He flinched but did not relax. He was stiff. "Why are you here?" he asked in his cracked voice. My heart broke listening to his voice and I felt guiltier because I was the reason behind it. God knows for how long he was crying. Without giving a second thought I said the words that I always wanted to tell him, "I love you my Bunny. Will you be my boyfriend?"

Jungkook POV

I ran and when I got exhausted I stopped to look around my surroundings. I found a small park but there were no benches and no people as well. I went in and stood listlessly. 

'How am I gonna live now? Is this how heartbreak feels like? It hurts so much.' These thoughts brought more tears to me and suddenly I felt a pair of arms wrapping my waist. At first I flinched but I was accustomed to the scent. I still love her scent and I still love her. How much I wanted to turn back and hug her but it was wrong so I stiffened myself and asked, "Why are you here?" My voice cracked and I am sure she heard that. 

She is one of those people who know me very well. "I love you my Bunny. Will you be my boyfriend?" she asked and my eyes widened in shock and I turned back and saw her smiling with her hands on my waist. 

I thought this was a dream and I am hallucinating but she took cupped my face and connecting our heads together said, "I love you a lot my Bunny but I was always scared that if I confess then maybe you will reject me and our beautiful relation will be broken. Every time you hugged me, cuddled me or kissed my forehead my heartbeat fastened. I always meant it when I said I love you to you, every single time. I thought you were my childhood crush and my feelings might disappear with age but even during your absence I loved you. I fell for you long back Kookie-yah but it took your absence to make me realize that you were not a simple crush I loved you. "She had tears rolling down her cheeks. 

I could not believe what I heard she loved me for such a long time and I never realized it. I smiled with tears in my eyes and said, "There was not even a moment when I had not had my heartbeat fasten because of you. Yours words, actions, hugs and nose kisses always made me fall more in love with you. I was always scared to lose you so I never said it. I love you and will always love you. Yes, I will be your boyfriend." I backed my head to take a look at her. 

She looked more beautiful in the moonlight and her teary face made her look like a fairy. I smiled widely but she suddenly frowned and said, "Don't people kiss after confession?" I laughed a bit and then cupping her face leaned down to capture her lips. Her lips were soft and perfectly molded with each other. I pulled her closely with one hand on her face and other wrapped around her waist. No words were required to be spoken because we poured our feelings into that one kiss. We slowly pulled away gasping for air. "You are my first kiss and you are my second kiss as well." I said looking at her. She chuckled and tip toed and gave me a peck and said, "I will be your third kiss as well." I can never get enough of her. I pulled her again and kissed her. 

"WOHOOOOOOOO!!!FINALLYYYYY!!" they shouted and we flinched due to the shout. "Finally you guys are together I was so fucking frustrated hearing you both whine about each other." Yugi said playfully rolling his eyes. "Shut up you ugly ass." Minnie said smacking his head. Everyone laughed and went to eat our food.

"By the way who was the guy earlier I must say he is very good looking." Hobi Hyung said. "Not better than me." Jin hyung sassed and we all laughed. "He is my very good friend from school. We used to sit together back in class 6 but later we became really good friends." Minnie said. Everyone nodded but then she again said, "Ah, Ryan is my cousin's brother's boyfriend and is my really good friend that is why we became closer. No need to jealous of him. Don't tell me you accepted Lia because you saw me and Ryan hugging?" she asked looking at me. 

I looked down and nodded my head. She chuckled and said "Such a cutie." "Was he in a relationship before? He never told us about it." Jimin hyung said. I told them the whole story. "How can someone be like this? I am proud of you Cutie-yah." Taehyung hyung said. Everyone started eating and we spend the time laughing and talking about the experiences.
