Getting to know each other

"So, how are you?" (Y/N) began, slicing into the rather comfortable silence like a knife.

"Good, I guess," Addy replied, smiling slightly at the cozy environment she had recently entered, "just feels like the weather's getting a lot worse."

"Well it is nearly Spring, so it should start getting better soon," he informed.

Thinking that he probably sounded extremely boring talking about the weather to such a pretty girl, (Y/N) decided to change the subject, "anyways, what've you been up to?" Not much better but it'll do.

"Um, not much to be perfectly honest, the most exciting thing I've done this week is turn in an assignment for my class"

"Oh, you're a student? What class are you taking?" he asked, intrigued.

"I'm taking a photography class, I kinda wanna be a photographer for some big brands or something like that," she looked almost starry-eyed, clenching slightly tighter on the half-drank glass of Jack Daniel's whiskey she'd ordered, "it probably sounds silly now that I'm saying it out loud."

"Oh really? That actually sounds really fun!" He replied, once again intrigued at this new information, "when I was growing up, my 2 ideas for a career was photography or owning a bar. Obviously being an optimistic child, I wanted both, but I only ended up with the latter, and honestly I'm really happy with it."

Addy smiled happily at the young man, loosely examining his fair features : his smooth-looking, silky (h/c) hair, his soft, pale skin, his calm (e/c) eyes. To her, he was the most handsome man she'd ever seen, but she wouldn't admit that to his face.

At least not yet anyway...

"-ddy, hey Addy, you alright?" the young man she'd just been admiring was now lightly waving his sizeable hand in her face.

"Oh yeah, you were saying."
