SHADYSIDE is a town filled with numerous murders every so many years. Citizens of the town would go crazy, and start to kill people. They, of course, would get caught, but nothing would ever stop it from happening again, years later.
And, the talk of the Sarah Fier curse would follow every time. Alexandria Mason always thought of the rumors as jokes, and she didn't believe it. Because, their town was just made to be this way, and it wasn't for any other reason than they suck ass.
Shadyside has been Alexandria's home since what felt like the beginning of time. The small trailer with broken doors, and busted walls, in the same neighborhood as her friends.
Ever since her mother died years ago, all Alexandria wants to do is now leave her so-called home. Her mother was her only exit from her abusive home—her father. She'd go down to her mothers all the time, seeming as her father and her mother got a divorce when she was a child, and forget about all the bad.
But, now she's sixteen, and her mother has been dead for years, so she's adapted to the horrors, and sadness of Shadyside. And, she's gotten used to her father's ways.
Then, Heather, a school friend and worker at the mall, is murdered, shaking the town again, and enticing fear. Alexandria tries to just shake it off, and worry about other things that are worth worrying about. But, when the murderers start to come after her friends, and herself, she starts to wonder if everything people said was true...
