Carina's POV

I've been sitting in this chair for two days straight.

And man, is my butt sore!

Sorry, just some dry humor to try and keep my hope from diminishing. A door opened from somewhere in the darkness. I raised my head, my stringy hair that was sticky with blood falling in front of my eyes. It was the bodyguard.

"It's your brother’s birthday today. Don't you think we should send him a gift?" He asked. I said nothing. He smirked and began to untie me. I was too weak to resist. They hadn't given me any food or water. I wouldn't have eaten it, but it’s the thought that counts. He grabbed my arms roughly and shoved me into a full bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, towels and a set of clothes. I turned around to look at him, but he had closed the door. I examined the room for cameras, but found none. I decided it was safe enough for me to take a shower. The water was nice and hot, and there was top of the line shampoos and conditioners. When I finished, I opened the cabinet doors under the sink and found a blow drier and other hair products. I put in a hair protecting leave in conditioner on my hair and then blow dried it. A small sticky note that was on the mirror caught my eye. It said: 'look good. Prepare to get out'. I didn't understand, but I didn't think it was a good sign. I laid out the clothes that they set out for me. There  (A/N Link on the side) was a black and white striped sleeve-less dress with a black skirt, and a bow on the collar. There was a metal bow hair clip, black ballet flats with bows on them, bow earrings, and some black tights. Wow. A lot of bows. Once I finished putting on the outfit, I looked at myself in the mirror. It would never be something that I picked out for myself, but I looked good in it. I heard a knock on the bathroom door.

"You done?" A gruff voice asked. I opened the door and stepped out. He smiled and dragged me back over to the chair, but before he could tie me, there was a loud crash, and a light came from the end of the room.

"Freeze!" It was a cop! I smiled.

"We have the place surronded. Let her go" The cop said. We were all still for a moment, and then, out of nowhere, the man let me go. I ran to the cop.

"Where's my brother?" I asked. He stepped aside to reveal Zayn, with tears is his eyes.

"Zayn!" I cried, jumping into his arms. I cried into his shoulder, and he cried into mine.

"I missed you so much" He cried.

"I thought I was going to die, Zayn" I cried back. He hugged me tighter, and carried me out of the building. Outside, everyone was there, and they all came running over. Louis was sobbing, Niall was sob-eating, Harry was blubbering, Liam was trying to keep it together, but failing, Macy and Tracy were hugging each other out of relief, Lily was holding onto her mothers hand, but Jake, oh Jake. He looked like a trainwreck. His eyes were red and puffy, he looked tired, and it looked as if someone had thrown him into the garbage disposal and kept him in there for a week. Zayn set me down and I ran over to Jake. He ran towards me and we met in the center. We just stood looking at each other for a moment, and then we hugged.

Everything was right.

At this exact moment.

Everything.
