The sun was shining through the curtains, putting both of them in a good mood. It was their anniversary, and they were enjoying the company of eachother at such an early time of the day. They remember the first time they met, they were so young.

Young love never lasts.
If you were to ask Myla if she thought that was true, she would say no. The love they shared was impeccable, they were perfect for eachother.
Even people around them thought they were forever.
They were soulmates.

They did everything together, ate together, slept together, laughed together, cried together. No matter what it was, they were always together.
It was so fun, talking about the future, their first child, their first house.
God made them to last eternity.
That was all before her.
She came along and took him faster then you can say sabotage, so fast they both didn't realize it, until they were standing in their apartment yelling at eachother.
Insults were thrown from both sides of the room.
He held back tears as he saw her leave, his throat burnt, his head ringing, as he saw her leave, one last time.

He wanted nothing more than to hold her, and tell her everything is gonna be okay, but everything was not gonna be okay, and some where deep down he knew that. He knew this was the end, and he fucked up big time.

She left with mascara running down her face, humiliated and angry, that she was stupid enough to believe he loved her, so stupid.
She wished she never met him, but then again he was the best thing that happened to her, he saved her.
She looked at him, one last time.
She wanted him, but he didn't want her, he ruined everything the day he kissed the other girl.

That night they loved eachother, one last time.

They looked at eachother, the lights enhancing eachothers features, they looked different, but they recognized eachothers eyes right away.
Her whole world stopped, it can't be.
She didn't want to see him, she was trying to get over him.

He was shocked to say the least, she looked so different from when they were together. He could still sense a hint of sadness in her 'brown eyes.
Her body was thinner, her skin pale covered with makeup.
"Excuse me"
She pushed her way through the small space between them, their shoulders touching, as he tried to Ignore the butterflies in his stomach.
He was still in so much shock, that he couldn't say a word.
He turned and, she was gone. All he could see was his friends calling him over.

Well fuck
They both think, as they walk back to their tables.
This is gonna be a long night.
