i squinted my eyes to look at the time on my phone and realized it was 8:00am. the other members were getting ready for school while i had to jump on wonyoung, trying to wake her up.

"WONYOUNG-AH, HURRY UP WE ARE LATE" i yelled in her ear as she muffled a 'OK', shoo-ing me away from her bed.

i shook my head, sighed and went to the kitchen.

"yerim unnie, your awake! i woke up early to enjoy the sunrise today, i made all of you pancakes!"

"ahhhh my favourite! thank you yuna, you're the best!" i ran to backhug her.

"ya! go eat everyone left already while i'm staying back for you two, i'm late myself and yujin left first already too."

"sorry yuna! i'll get out asap and drag the bed roach wonyoung out too."

she slapped me playfully on the shoulder and walked out of the house.

i walked to school with wonyoung, when i saw jungwon in the distance, waving and jumping like a kid.

it was best they don't see each other i thought, so i let wonyoung go in first cause thankfully we came 10 minutes early.

"jungwon-ah! you just got here too?"

"ah noona! yeah i forgot to turn on my alarm last night. lets go in together." he smiled, showing his dimples. linking his arm with mine, he poked my cheek, and it made me a bit flustered as we walked in together.

did that even matter? wonyoung was in the same class as jungwon anyways, why did i decide to walk with him instead? and why did i feel flustered over nothing?

jungwons pov
i walked into class not thinking about much, until i saw her sitting in her desk that was in the next row beside me, a bit to the front. i couldn't help but stare at her back all class, is she going to act like nothing happened?

the bell rang and i wasn't even aware. "wait wonyoung." i stopped her from leaving the class.

"can we talk?" i looked at her with hopeful eyes.

"jungwon, if it's about that-"

"no. its not that..." i tried to think of a lie last minute.

"do you want to maybe practice together sometime? i heard you might be covering one of our songs for youtube content, so i could help you out!" i smiled to cover up my lie.

"oh, that would be great! i'll see you at the company then!"

she left the classroom as i left out a big "phew..."

i didn't have the guts to tell her how i felt, i still feel awkward with her after what happened. but i was going to hang out with yerim so that might get my mind off things.

i went back into the company cafe but i didn't see yerim noona come in yet, due to covid there wasn't anyone here either. i decided to text her.
