Nini tossed and turned in the bed trying to forget all the events that happened just a few hours ago. It seemed like in a matter of minutes her life came crumbling down. She'd been crying for hours and by now her eyes were bloodshot red and puffy.

She really thought her and Ricky had something. Like he had actually changed for the better, but all she was to him was a couple extra dollars in her pockets.

She couldn't believe that she let him pull her into his games again. She should've kept her guard up for longer. She should've done a better job at protecting her heart.

Not being able to get her mind off of everything Nini got up from the bed careful not to wake Ashlyn, grabbing a pen and paper.

She started to write down each and every emotion that she was feeling into a song. The best song that she'd ever written in her opinion.

"Ej. I'm such an idiot" Ricky said as he paced back and forth in Ej's room. The night kept playing over and over again in his mind. Like a video on tik tok when you don't scroll

"What happened? I thought you and Nini were doing good"

"We were. We were doing great until red texted me that I won the bet and to come get the $80. Nini saw the text and wanted nothing to do with me"

"I told you not to make that bet" Ej said and regretted it right after it left his mouth

"Not exactly the time Ej" Ricky said slightly annoyed.

"Right, sorry"

"So what do I do Ej? I love her, and I even told her that. I can't let her go. Not like this"

"Wait, you told her you love her?"

"Yeah but it was after a fight. I'm really not sure if she even believed me. She probably thought I said it just so she could forgive me. But I do, I really love her"

"Give her some time to calm down Ricky. I'm sure she probably doesn't want to see you right now. It's probably just a lot to take in."

"But Ej—"

"Ricky I mean it give her some space. Think of it like this. What if the first person that you let go around had a bet on you the entire time. You'd start to question their motive for everything they did. I'm sure it's hard on Nini" Ej voiced and Ricky sighed knowing that he was right. He knew he hurt Nini.

He genuinely didn't mean to though. He forgot all about the bet. After he got to know the real Nini he didn't even care about the bet. Red could've kept the entire $80 for all her cared.

Ricky nodded. He was definitely gonna listen to ej on this one. Especially considering that he didn't listen to him before and this is where it landed him. Heartbroken.

He didn't know whether Nini would forgive him or not but he sure hopes that she would

"Uhh Ricky have you been on Twitter lately?" Ej said after checking his phone. His eyes widened seeing at the sight of his Twitter timeline

"No, I haven't been on social media. Why?" Ricky asked pulling out his phone and his eyes widened larger than Ej's
