BEFORE I START THIS: there will be a very extremely important note at the end of this so please read it, and without any further a-due (idk if that's how you spell it) on with the chapter.

[y/n's pov]
Liv texted me the address of her hotel so i'm on my way to pick her up. i'm completely and utterly shaking in my boots, this is going to be the first time that we meet in person...

what if she doesn't like me..

stop thinking like that, of course she'll like you... right?

i'm snapped out of my thoughts by the honk of a car. i almost forgot that i was in the parking lot of walmart. damn, thinking about Olivia really does take up all of my headspace. on another note the person that honked was just waiting for my parking spot so i pull out of the spot and flip off the person who honked at me while i drive away.

as i drive i get a phone call from Maddie, and, of course, i answer.

"sup" i say to them.

"dude, today's the big day. today's the day you get a girlfr-"

"MADDIE SHUT UP!" i whisper shout into the microphone as if Olivia could hear our conversation from the airport. Maddie only laughs at my reaction.

"I wish i could see your face right now, i bet you're as red as a tomato." they laughed more.

"haha very funny Mads," i say sarcastically, "honestly i'm glad you called because i need your help."

"of course you do, i'm the all knowing Maddie Lebrant. how may i do my service to you this afternoon ms l/n" she said in a terrible british accent.

"i told Olivia i had this great day planned for her on facetime last night, and well, I was maybe most definitely 100% talking out of my ass and i have no clue what to do." i rant.

"wow.. hmm let me think" they pause. "TAKE HER MINI GOLFING"

"that could work... there's this cute outdoor mini golf place like 20 minutes from my house that always looks abandoned. IT'S PERFECT. Mads you're the best, i love you" I say

"I know.. anyways i got to go and so do you so see ya" they say.

"bye Maddie, don't get killed" i say, she replies with "no promises" before hanging up.

*time skip to the hotel brought to you by listening to sour at 3 am*

i pull into the front of the hotel and text Liv that i've arrived. within 10 minutes i see her exiting the front doors and walking towards my car. she was wearing a white sweater with a blue collared top under it, paired with some dark blue jeans, black converse, and a fluffy cow printed tote bag. she looks great.

I on the other hand at wearing a plain black long sleeve shirt, a skirt paired with black tights and my doc martens, and my favourite leather jacket (hehe remember that jacket)

as she enters the car i feel my stomach rupture with butterflies. i feel a warmth spread across my face as she turns to face me with a huge grin.

before i know it, she's squealing like a toddler on christmas morning and it's adorable. i giggle a bit as i go in for a hug.

"it's so great to see you in person!" she exclaims as i feel her breath down my neck due to our close proximity. i try and calm myself down and pray that the obvious blush on my face will vanish by the time we pull away from the embrace.

"you too! you look so great!" i blurt as we pull away from the hug. i mentally scold myself as i see her look down trying to cover a blush.

"thank you, i could say the same to you..." she laughs and i join in awkwardly. "so, where to
ms. l/n?" she asks.
