Back to the old lady, she looked fine physically. Don't ask me how's she mentally cause I am not living in her mind. I can't assume that, maybe asking her when she wakes up will be a better option.

I went up to the nearest light/electricity/security pole, all in one huh! These electrical light poles had added monitoring systems nowadays. There are cameras and a phone as well as some buttons to alert in case you can't do verbal communication. Well, it's good that it's available, widespread and these are used with better functions instead of just being regular light stands. Even in all that good but isn't having too many cameras around make you feel creepy. Not my business but I would naturally feel extremely nauseated to have many eyes looking at me.

"Overall, good security. Bravo!" I applauded while pressing the emergency buttons for police assistance and medics.

I went back and saw another lady approaching with her dog. I didn't know how to explain the situation when she asked what happened here.

''The car lost control and the lady here was gonna get hit, luckily I moved her away but she fainted mainly due to shock of these circumstances." Narrating in as few words as possible because my Chinese dictionary is still in drought. Don't blame me I didn't have a proper convo with anyone last few months, much less in another language adding the fact that she's a complete stranger. I kind of stayed in off contact with everyone past months except two or three friends.

She smiled looking at me when she saw me fidgeting in the spot, feeling very awkward.

She lifted her right hand and patted me while giving away brighter smile than the previous one and said, "Jiayou, you did well. I am proud of you."

"Thank you." I replied back with a polite smile while thinking "What a friendly lady!"

[The conversation with the lady is in Chinese. Obviously I wouldn't talk to her in English]

Suddenly remembered that I still had to reach the wedding venue so explained that I had something I need to rush to.

She volunteered to stay till the police arrives and told me to be on my way.

Well for me, I wouldn't have stayed either way because I already had enough exposure today. Definitely gonna avoid any encounter with police. I am extremely lucky that this lady here is super generous, she literally saved me.

"Good endeavors attracts good fortune." It seems so.

"Thank you, aunt." I voiced out again, bowed to show respect before walking off.

She waved and smiled at me. This gesture made me feel warm till the end so I couldn't help smiling back, it felt natural.

By the time, I reached the hotel, it was almost 4 p.m. I ended up staying a little in the accident site a bit more, in a distance on the blind spot to the cameras.

The police came in next few minutes after I left the scene, followed by the medics in the later moments. The driver was brought out of his car, he was probably in his late twenties. The car door was already opened by me before leaving so the job was pretty easier for them.

The medics took the collapsed lady in a stretcher and checked her situation. Later they put her on hospital car and left.

"Well, that's sorted out" I spoke while checking my movements recorded in the cameras. The parts where face was shown clearly, blurring them out as well as changing colors of my clothes a bit to not give any hints. "Now they can't recognize me" I thought proudly before leaving.

My phone was ringing like crazy. "24 missed calls" was shown in the locked screen.

I ran the last 500-600 meters. This hotel was 6 floored and this hotel is rented for staff use and storage. I spotted Lia waiting for me on the gate. She must have told Mei that I didn't come yet so Mei was just calling me like a maniac to that point.
