"I'll be already in two days. Trust me I think I have enough break"
"Alright Sunggyu just don't push yourself too hard okay? I'll see you in two days" the man said and left the room. Sunggyu was finally going to be released from the hospital after recovering from the five months coma. "So what are you going to do in these two days?" a young man hugged Sunggyu's neck clinging tightly to him. "I think I'll just go on a little trip around the city. Just so I can start to familiarise myself. My mind is still a bit hazy" Sunggyu rubbed his head.
"Will you be alright by yourself?" the man asked as they head out of the building.
"Yeah, don't worry. You kids go and finish your schedules I'll see you in two days" Sunggyu waved to his friends as they hopped into the van. "Take care Sunggyu!" the van drove off leaving Sunggyu standing on the road alone.
After hours Sunggyu wandering around the city he still felt he forgot something. His mind had the answer but the more he tried to uncover it he gets more headaches. It felt like his mind was trying to hide it from him. He was still in a bit of shock from the accident especially when Hoya was explaining the whole story and the death of the young girl. He felt really bad for her.
Flash back at the hospital three days ago.
"24th June 2013, we were on our way to the studio but the rain was heavy and the van lost control and hit a car. Two passengers had minor injuries but a young girl died at the scene. You were sitting at the front seat so your side hit the car where the girl sat so you had more impact than us. We only made it with few bruises and scratches and some of us fainted at the scene but I was wide awake. It wasn't a pretty sight I really thought you were dead but luckily you made it" Hoya explained every detailed.
"I may be lucky but the girl it's really sad for her. What was her name?" Sunggyu asked
"I don't know. I only heard she was a singer" Hoya shrugged.
"Well that's too bad. I really want to pay respect to her" Sunggyu sighed.
"Seri. That's her name" L said in a quiet voice. Everyone's head turned to L curious to know how he found out. Sungyeol gently hugged L. "Seri was a friend we met before she died on the same day" Sungyeol whispered and L hung his head low holding back his tears.
End of flashback
Sunggyu's eyebrows furrowed together as he thought of Seri. The name was very familiar to him but according to Infinite he never met her apart from L and Sungyeol. Not knowing what else to do he decided to visit her grave.
"Seri died on 24th June 2013" Sungyu read to himself the gravestone. On top there was a little picture of a young girl's face and Sunggyu picked it up studying her face but he couldn't remember anything about her. After placing flowers and paying respect to her Sunggyu decided to visit a café.
Sitting there he felt something was missing. Sitting on the table he felt like Seri was sitting in front of him but as Sunggyu blinked again there was no one there. Thinking that he needed fresh air he decided to sit on the bench near the park and he lazily slung his arm across the chair. Looking at where his arm landed his felt that feeling again. He felt really lonely and Seri came across his mind again. Was it guilt of her death haunting his mind Sunggyu thought.
Night came and Sunggyu was called back into the hospital for a check up. It was his last night staying over at the hospital before he reunites with Infinite again. He dreamt the same dream like the previous nights. It was a nightmare. Dreaming the accident he watched the accident occurring again and again. Remembering the scared face of Seri before the collision but after the horrible nightmare that night something was different. After the accident a bright light came by and Sunggyu found himself resting on a bed and felt someone stroking his hair and softly humming him a song. He couldn't see the face of the person. "Sweet dreams Sunggyu and be happy. I'll always be here when you need me" a soft feminie voice whispered into his ears.
Waking up Sunggyu looked at the sun rising from the window and felt the soft breeze of the wind. "Thank you Seri" Sunggyu whispered to the window.
After days of training and rehearsing Sunggyu was prepared to perform again on the stage. Every night from then he never had nightmares instead he had dreams of Seri. Dreams of being with her in heaven and soon he finally remembered he was really in heaven with her.
"That's what I'm missing. It's you Seri. Well now I know, you will belong in my heart" Sunggyu smiled as he looked at the gravestone and looked up the sky where he believed Seri was watching.
