Fatefully not yours (Infinite Fanfic)

Negotiations again

A/N: before reading,  I'm so sorry (bowing hundred no thousand of times) for not updating for such a long time. I am suffering from a writer block for all my stories and life just couldn't get easier with some personal problems I am dealing with right now but i'm getting over them slowly so...I guess you could say I'm kinda back? I am active again for this story but I'm not neglecting my other stories it's just hard to focus on life and writing these days so please bear with me. I understand if you have no interest in this story any more but I just want to apologise. 

Quick recap since it has been way too long: Sunggyu returned to earth with an erase memory alone and spent his days off trying to sort his memory together and he did and Seri never left his memories. 

Seri's Flashback.

After the fight they had about Sunggyu giving her contract, Seri decided to talk to God for advice.

"Isn't there anything I could do please!" Seri bowed begging desperately God for something to do. God knew something like this would happen. Ever since the day he saw them together he knew it would come to this. Fate wasn't planning this but it was predictable. It was hard for him to keep both of them happy when the contract was signed. There was no turning back but one solution. It was exchanging souls which God knew Seri would fully accept and so Seri's contract was returned to Sunggyu again.

When Sunggyu blacked out in Seri's arms, she felt his body getting lighter. She thought that Sunggyu leaving was hard for her but this was really painful sight. Seeing him disappearing from her arms. She sat there crying and watching Sunggyu slowly disappearing.

Sunggyu resumed to his daily activities and worked twice hard to catch up. Inspirits gave all the support Sunggyu needed but inside he has a heavy heart thinking about Seri. Trying his best to smile in front of the stage, in front of Infinite but by the end of the day his mind was tired of it all. When he slept, he would dream of her and woudl wake up with tears welling up in his eyes as reality hit him. She left him but rather it was him who left her. He would curse his stupidity when Seri asked them to spend the last days together. He cursed himself for being cold to her during the last days. He was angry at himself but afterwards he would always question to the sky. Why did Seri break his heart? Was fate playing with them?

Days later after mourning over Seri during the nights, it took over his mind during the day. He would have arguments and conversations to his imaginary Seri. Sometimes he pictured Seri living in the dorm watching him and always smiling. He would live on imagining she was next to him the whole time. Sure he thought himself was mad but it was the only thing he could do to keep him insane and living.

Everyday, Seri would sit at the usual spot where she watches Infinite but her main focus was always on Sunggyu. Watching him all happy and giving his famous eye smile during the day and breaking down at night. She knew it was breaking him apart but somehow he always seemed to recover the next day. Watching him crying and his night talks to her made Seri slowly regret her choice. She thought by returning his contract everything will be like in the past but Sunggyu miraculously kept their memories they built together. Fate again has twisted and Sunggyu was now suffering but either way if it was her down there the same thing would probably happen. Yes she believed Sunggyu was getting a bit mad but there was nothing she could do but watch. She tried though. She tried to get Sunggyu back together. She would go down there and shout and sometimes scream to Sunggyu that he was just imagining and accept her death but he couldn't hear her. It pained her to watch but she thought she deserved this. It was her fault for interfering with Sunggyu's life and now she was paying for it.

"Seri, I only want the two of you to be happy but it ends up with both hurt. I hate to see you like this Seri" God softly spoke as he stroke her head as she cried. "I want to give you a second chance but it is beyond my reach. There is however another solution" God looked down at Seri's eyes peeked out of her hands as to ask him to continue. "Rebirth" God simply answered. Seri thought about it. If she was to be reborn it would mean she would no longer be Seri she would be someone else but then that would mean she would live again and slight chance she could see Sunggyu again.

"Can we be together if I was to reborn?" Seri quietly asked. "Well, there might be a slight chance you might meet him but being reborn you understand that you will restart. Meaning this life you live now will no longer exist. Your memories will be gone because you're not Seri but then again you can meet Sunggyu and hopefully reunite. There still a chance"

Seri spent the rest of the day about the offer. She was worried will she regret it? Will they meet again? If not can Sunggyu move on? Questions keep popping up in her mind. "What do I do Sunggyu?" Seri looked down at Sunggyu who was talking to himself again. "I love you do you love me?" Sunggyu questioned to the seat in front of him. Getting no reply from the chair Sunggyu sadly smiled. "Then never leave me dear Seri" and continued reading his book.

Seri knew she had to let him go. If she loved him she had to let him go from this torture. "I pray you can get better Sunggyu. I'm deeply sorry for all the troubles but there is one tihng I don't regret and that was loving you" Slowly leaving her gaze from Sunggyu she shut her eyes as small tears of sadness but also filled with hope. "Dear God, please return me back"

So what do you think? I'm not sure if this story would end soon I somehow came up with so many ideas that the story must go on but I don't know should I?....
