Chapter 18
Two weeks later
Everything was sorted out and going good for the Raisinghania family, Deepak had asked for forgiveness from Kabir, maybe if he had been in his life, then things would have been different.
Kabir had returned all the money grandparents had left for them back to Deepak. He has seen lifetime of hurt to not want to be rich.
Deepak had decided to keep the money in a trust fund so that when ever Kabir needs it he can take it. Uma too finally returned back to her home. There was a grand welcoming party for her,
V- Ma, i am so happy you are alive. Please don't leave us ever again.
U- I missed you too my baby.
S/K- Mom thoda pyaar hume bhi.
They all laughed as Vansh glared at them. Aryan was slowly taking part in business as well, he did have a calculative mind and it helped Vansh a lot. Vansh regretted not giving him a chance before.
Chanchal and Uma were like two mothers of Riddhima, they pampered her a lot, since it was because of her everything was alright and that Kabir was able to find his true family. Everything was in order, everyone was happy except for Vansh.
He was becoming irritated, Riddhima had been avoiding him for the past two weeks, since she woke she wouldn't let him touch her, she even stopped wearing sleeveless or backless dresses like she used to wear before.
Tonight he was determined to get answers for his questions, he went to his room she was no where to be seen, he looked in the bathroom, she was standing near the mirror looking at her back and whip marks and was completely lost somewhere. She quickly closed the zip of her kurti when she saw him,
V- Riddhima kya hua?
R- Nothing i am fine.
V- No, you are avoiding me, since you came from the hospital. Please tell me what is the matter. ?
R- How can you look at me with love, don't feel bad when you see my back scarred, or don't you find it irritating that i have nightmares.
Vansh pulled her closer and then took off his t- shirt. He kept her hand on the near faded scar on his abs.
V- Can you see this scar, or the scar on my back right in the middle when i was stabbed during a deal. Even my body is littered with scars.
V- Riddhima your scars don't make you ugly, they show me that you were strong, and that you didn't beg Ishani to spare you. They are a part of you. I can never hate them.
R- I am sorry, i didn't mean to behave like this.
V- No, you can always share your feelings with me. Afterall we are husband and wife.
R- Waise i thought you were going to marry me again..
V- I am but you will not stay in other room. I don't care about the superstitions.
R- Aww. My possessive husband. I love you.
V- I love you too.
The next day Vansh had announced his decision to marry Riddhima again and everyone was happy, especially Uma she got a chance to see her son's wedding again. Haldi ceremony was kept that day only.
Riddhima looked beautiful in a yellow sari and decked with floral jewelry, this was a ladies function only, and Vansh was irritated he couldn't see Riddhima and Kabir and Aryan were pissed because they couldn't be a part of the celebration.
So, all three them disguised as ladies, went into the function, Riddhima was clicking selfies, and the boys were enjoying dressed as ladies, Riddhima was puzzled when one of the ladies dragged her to the corner,
R- Aare, leave my hand what are you doing?.
V- Hey Sweetheart, Vansh lifts the veil.
R- Vansh? Hahahaha.
V- Shhh. If Mom comes to know then saara plan fail ho jayega. He brought a bowl of haldi he been hiding in his hands.
V- Well i want to put Haldi on you as well. He rubbed haldi on her cheeks and waist, he smirked seeing her breathing heavily, he was just going to kiss when he felt someone pulling his ears.
V- Owww.
U- You naughty boys. Ladies function hain yeh. Chalo bhar nikalo.
V- But Mom.
U- Angre!!!
A- Ji Mam..
U- Yeh teeno aaj hotel mein rehne wale hain. Kal shaadi ke muhurat pe hi Vansh aayega.
V- But Mom.. Uma giving him the motherly glare was enough to shut him up. He glared when he saw Riddhima laughing.
U- Ab jao.
Riddhima was a bit sad but she was amused, Vansh was behaving like a grumpy person he didn't even call her to say goodnight.
The next day was Mehendi ceremony and in the afternoon the shaadi, the Mehendi was made beautifully by Sia and Chachi, all the while teasing Riddhima.
Everyone was laughing when Vansh had arrived 10 minutes early to Muhurat along with a frazzled Panditji.
The ceremony started and Riddhima came downstairs looking like a beautiful angel in a wine colored bridal wear.
Even though Vansh was a bit grumpy, but he had a smile on his, finally they are getting married without any force. Riddhima looked happy too.
After the ceremony was completed they took pictures too and a family photo too.
Riddhima was standing by the window looking at the moon when Vansh came inside, he hugged her from the back, they just enjoyed each other's company,
R- Thank you.
V- For what?
R- For giving me such a beautiful family. For loving me.
V- Well in that case, thank you too. For bringing my mom and my brother back. For always loving me even when hurt you. Thank you for everything.
They hugged each other content that not only they had beautiful family, they had each other and love as well. Together they both will continue to fight whatever life throws on them, because they have each other and their family.
