Elloise's POV

"So that I'll have a reason to see you again." He says and walks away.

My eyes open widely.

I touch my chest as I feel my heart beating rapidly.

W-WHAT?!

What did he just say?

My face immediately heats up as I feel my chest-beating.

Ahhhhhhh!! I HATE IT HERE!!

I just cried in front-- well beside a stranger!!

AAAAAAA!!

"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" I say while hitting my head.

"Aww!" I complain as I hit my head.

Ugh! I am stupid! I hit my head then complain that it hurts!

7:30 pm

"Papa I wanna go with you," I tell papa as my head faces the floor.

I can feel my heart beating so fast and my blood pressure rising while my breathing quickens.

Ugh! Anxiety does be attacking again!

I am desperate to go because I never tried to go to the festival of talents.

I am trying to be on good terms with papa but...

"No Elloise! For Pete's sake please shut the fuck up, I'm busy!" Papa shouts as he points at me.

...... he's always like that.

I couldn't stop myself but run into my room without his permission.

I cry and cry and cry.

Yes, I need his permission if I want to leave and go to my room while talking to him. I need permission if I want to go outside. I need permission to go to my friend's house.

But...

Do I have friends?

I remember when I asked papa to allow me to sleepover at my friend's house but he lashed out and slapped me.

I can still feel the pain.

It still hurts.

Papa left because I heard someone knocks which mean papa is out. I quickly change into an outfit that won't attract the attention of anyone.

Just simple white sweatpants with a pink crop topped hoodie with a black bonnet and I partnered it with black rubber shoes.

Comfy clothes. This will do.

Papa will never recognize me with this outfit because I always wear dresses and uncomfortable clothes. After all, he told me too.

I know.

'It's your body. Why would you let your Papa decide what you wear?'

Simple, because I'm a headache. He feds me, he gave me clothes, room, money, and vehicles. According to him, I have no right to disobey him because a lot of people don't have what I do.
