Chapter 18 - You..?!

Evan's POV

Funneh, Lunar, Alec, and I all went inside after we payed and got our skates. "Hopefully I don't fall this time," Lunar giggled. "If you do.. i'll be right next to you laughing my butt off," I said, laughing like crazy. She glared at me then giggled. "Just kidding, I'll help you up if you happen to fall," I smiled. She smiled back, her smile is so.. cute.

I looked away quickly before I started blushing. If she notices me blushing she'll start bugging me about it. We both finished putting our skates on and got in the rink. "Where's Alec and Funneh?" she asked me. I looked around before I gave her an answer. "Uh.. I don't see them. Maybe they both had to use the bathroom?" I shrugged.

She shrugged as well before she got joined me in the rink. She skated slowly to the middle and I skated behind her. I actually got used to it the second time, but she just can't get the hang of it. "Go slowly before you fall," I smiled. She smiled back and tried to skate again. "LUNAR!" Funneh shouted, skating over to us. "Wait slow-"

I was cut off by Funneh bumping into Lunar, Lunar grabbed my hand before she fell, pulling me down with her. I landed right on top of her. "FUNNEH!!" Lunar yelled at her. I rubbed my head before getting off of her. "I'm sorry!" Funneh shouted back, she was also on the ground next to us. Alec skated over to us to help Funneh up. I got up as well and helped Lunar up.

"You okay?" I asked her. "Yeah im fine," she smiled. "Can you try teaching me again? I really want to get the hang of this," she asked me. "Sure!" I smiled. "FUNNEH WAIT!" Alec shouted as he chased after Funneh. I watched as they both skated off. I laughed before turning back to look at Lunar. "Okay, so i'll skate ahead and you just follow behind me, try to go the same pace as me," I suggested.

She nodded her head, "Okay!" I looked at her so that I was skating backwards. She skated to me, going the same speed. She's slowly getting the hang of it. Lunar looked at me, her eyes met mine and she smiled. "I'm getting the hang of it!" she giggled. "That's good!" I smiled. She started going a bit faster. This is good!

She tripped on some trash on the floor, I grabbed both of her hands so that she wouldn't fall. "Woah! Careful," I said. She stood up normally and looked at me. "Oh.. uh- thanks.." she mumbled. I saw her blush a little before she turned to the side, hiding her face from me. "Maybe let's skate side by side," I said. She smiled then nodded her head.

We skated side by side, both going the same speed. I could see Funneh and Alec both skating together holding hands. Alec looked over at us, he noticed us side by side and smirked. I saw him take out his phone then my phone buzzed. What is he up to. I pulled out my phone and saw a text from him. "Hold her hand idiot" he texted. I shot him a glare before looking over at Lunar.

She was looking around, fine I guess i'll do it. I put my phone away and slowly reached for her hand, I finally grabbed it and she quickly looked at me. "Oh s-sorry! If it makes you uncomfortable i'll let go," I apologized. She looked down at our hands, "No it's fine," she smiled. She grabbed onto my hand tighter and I looked away to hide my blush.

It feels like we're still together.. like nothing ever happened. If only it were true tho. "Hey Evan.." she mumbled. "Yeah?" I asked her. We stopped skating and she got infront of me, still holding my hand. "Uh.. I don't know how to exactly say this.." she said. "Take your time," I smiled. She looked away, I wonder what she's going to say.

Lunar's POV

How on earth do I just confess! I can't keep it a secret any longer, I don't want to hold my feelings in anymore. "I- uh... GOT TO USE THE BATHROOM!!" I shouted, I let go of his hand then skated off the rink. I skated into the bathroom. Stupid stupid stupid! Lunar what was that?! I walked over to the bathroom mirror and looked at myself. "Why can't I just tell the truth.. I want to get it over with! Even if he doesn't like me back.." I mumbled quietly.
