COOKIE'S NEW WORLD

Chapter 1 - Where am I?

Cookie opens her eyes.

Something was very strange.

The soft sheets that surrounded her body and the warm sunshine coming through the windows were a sharp contrast to the moment she just experienced.

' I...I must have been died.'

She closed her eyes and open them again . The confusion was still on her mind but when she came to her senses she was lying in a completely different place .

' Is this heaven or is this afterlife '.

She had never laid down on such a soft bed since her profession as a doctor she was a obliged to serving on-call responsibilities, treating people after-hours because of emergencies, and responding to calls at all hours , she had never slept deeply.

'It's like I am in a totally different world ... but how is that possible .'

Cookie scrambled out of bed. As she got up the large , cushiony mattresses yielded under her. She stood before the mirror and finally had a good look at her appearance . However the reflection in front of her was not Cookie it was a girl around 16-17  years old.

'This...who is this my memories of past are fragmented at the moment but at the very least I do remember this is not me.'

'First of all , I still can recollect how I died and above all , there is no way that I would look like this...My appearance in my past life was , from the colour of my eyes , to my hair , nothing particularly special . In other words , the appearance I have now is not the only one that people call as pretty  but it is extraordinarily beautiful .'

Radiant black hair , mysterious purple eyes , softly glowing alabaster skin . She is truly beautiful beyond words.

'This is like a dream but it's so realistic.'

Cookie's mouth opens like a fool as she looked at the room around her. The room was so luxurious and well groomed. A girly themed room with antics making it even more amusing but she was feeling even more puzzled at this moment.

'Where am I ? What is this place ? it's certainly not heaven then what is this this place ?'

While cookie was busy with her thoughts someone came in.

"Princess Sofia here is your warm milk please finish it before the bath and would you like to have breakfast in your room or would you like to have it with Emperor and Empress."

Cookie didn't understand what she was talking about and who was she addressing as princess and who are Emperor and Empress. In the end she decided to ask.

"Pardon me but who are you calling a princess ? can you tell me which is this place and who are you?"

Hearing this the person who addressed Cookie as princess her complexion changed as if she had heard something wrong she came forward and said

"Princess ? I am Clara your  personal maid assigned to your highness at your fifth birthday are you perhaps still sleepy."

Cookie knew that all of this was real now and the way she is dressed it's also the ones in old movies , the way that person is talking is also very formal which is used when speaking with an elder or a higher person.'

'But Princess...I have to know the truth.'

"Hi Miss Clara , can you please tell me where this place is."

"Princess you don't have to be so formal with me and this place is the inner palace where princess lives and soon it will be your 16th birthday you were so excited last night about the birthday banquet as this will be your debut  in the society."

'Am I not dead I was feeling if this this afterlife but I still should confirm it."

As soon as Cookie heard all this she ran outside the door in the balcony and jumped from there . The maid tried to stop her but it was too late.

She opened her eyes wishing she would be in a real world not a dream world with all fancy things as you open your eyes there is some people around staring at her . It seemed like they were worried about something.

"Princess you have finally opened your eyes we were so worried about you."

An old lady said to cookie but she was still confused about all this.

"Butler Thomas please inform Emperor and Empress  that Princess has gained consciousness."

'Is this the Déjà Vu . Why do I have a family a feeling about this' Didn't I just jump off the balcony am I my back.'

"We announce that the Emperor and Empress are here."

Two people said simultaneously after that a man and a woman entered the room both were young and very good-looking. The  woman had tears in her eyes as soon as she saw Cookie she ran towards her and hugged her tightly.

"Princess my baby , I am glad you are fine I was so scared when you fell from the stairs. I...I can't imagine you getting hurt even a little  you scared your mother so much." (Sob,sob... she was crying )

'Wait , who is this woman and when did I fall from the stairs I remember clearly I jumped from the balcony not the stairs and she even said the word 'mother' so she is supposed to be this body's mother right but whose body is this and why is this also confusing let's just ask.'

"Pardon me but who are you calling princess ? can you tell me which is this place ? And who are you ?"

'Wait why does my voice sound so different.'

Everyone around her was surprised and seemed more worried than before then the good-looking man called someone and said.

"Yes your majesty."

a guy bowed that good looking man and left . Cookie was just staring at the woman who was holding your hands.

'Ummm my hands why are they so small now can someone explain me what's happening here.'

"I can explain it."

an old man entered the room first he bowed to that good looking man. Both of them exchanged greetings then the man came to the bed where Cookie was lying .

'Did this man answer me just now on this is my illusion.'

"Who is this man now and do you think ? Cookie's Question's would be answered . How would cookie start a new life in an unknown world what are the surprises  stored in for her for knowing about that stay tuned."
