The Next Generation Marauders

Victoire got up and left, and Scorpius had no idea of what was going on. All he wanted was a seat, not to be thrown into an unnecessary argument between a Potter and a Weasley.

"I'm going to explain to Scorpius whether you like it or not! You can stay or you can go catch up with Vicky's "friend". He might just be one of those partners in crime you were looking for."

"Maybe I WILL go see about Victoire, thank you very much! Teddy!"

"I guess I'll be going too. Oh, and nice to meet you." Teddy said, shaking Scorpius's hand.

"Sorry about my dreadful cousin. They're not all like that, you know."

His eyes widened. "You mean there's more?!"

Rose just giggled. "The thing James and I were so pleasantly arguing about was a "group" he wants to start. Way back when, Teddy's dad, my Uncle's dad, my Uncle's godfather, and their friend were all best mates and they..."

"Woah, woah, woah. Who?"

"Not important right now.", she rushed on, "They were best mates and called themselves The Marauders. They were insufferable troublemakers, but they had the best of times..." She carried on telling the whole story and what James' idea was. "So, are you in or what?"

"We're just starting school, and I don't want to get into too much trouble already. I also don't think that James enjoys my presence as much as you do."

Rose interjected, "He'll like you when he gets to know you!"

"...And my dad", he continued, "He's expecting a lot from me. I just don't know about it all."

The boys burst in. "So?", questioned James, "You up to the challenge Malfoy?"

"What my very outspoken friend means is, 'Would you like to join us in our marauding endeavor?"

"English please!", said James.

"I understand. Can I decide when we get to Hogwarts?"

"You're wait is up! We're here! Get your first glimpse of Hogwarts boys!"

All three of them pressed their nose against the window, quickly fogging it up.

"Welcome to Hogwarts fellow Marauders.", Scorpius whispered.
