On the way home from school Brea and Jacob stop to grab something to eat from the Chinese store.

What are thinking about asked Jacob

Nothing I'm fine said Brea.

Don't lie to me Brea your not fine said Jacob.

Can't you please drop it. I just want to get home and eat replied Brea.

You know what eat by yourself growled Jacob as he was pulling in front of Brea  house

Fine cried Brea and don't pick me up for school tomorrow I'll take the bus she told Jacob.

When Brea got out of the car she ran to her front in tears. She couldn't believe the way Jacob was acting towards her.

Brea wait cried Jacob. I'm sorry sweetheart for making cry and being upset because of me.

Brea unlocked her front door and walk inside of the living room where Jacob had followed her after shutting the front door.

Look Jacob I'm tired, angry, and very emotional because of what's going with Kayden and I. We've been best friends since we were little. I'm sorry for acting this way it just hurts so much.

Jacob pulled Brea to his chest and hugged tightly. It will be okay sweetheart you have me and whenever Kayden is ready to talk to you then he will. You shouldn't worry or stress yourself he told her.

Brea continued to cry while Jacob was holding her in his arms. When her sobs finally ended he asked her was she alright.

I'm not but I will be she told Jacob.

Okay I see you tomorrow Jacob said after he gave Brea a soft kiss on her lips.

Goodnight, Jacob but I still rather get to school on my own okay just met me there said Brea.

Okay if that's what you want then goodnight he replied see you at school tomorrow.

After Jacob left Brea headed to her bedroom where she begin to cry and finally cried herself to sleep.

The next morning Brea woke up her eyes were so puffy and red from her crying the previous night. She quickly got ready for school trying to avoid seeing her mom knowing that her mother was going to ask questions.

Good morning mom said Brea as reached for a banana.

Good morning baby girl said Shauntae. What happened? Why are your eyes so puffy and have you been crying?

I'm okay mom it's just so hard not being able to talk to Kayden like I use cried Brea.

Why what do you mean replied her mom.

He hasn't talk to me since Ms. Karli passed away last month and he's dating Empress.

Oh wow said Shauntae. That's very rude of him but I'm sure you to can work it out.

Mom, he was my friend and Empress has been nothing but cruel to me said Brea.

Just stay clear of Empress and Kayden especially at school. I don't want you getting into any trouble said Shauntae.

I will see you later mom. I'm catching the bus I'll meett Jacob at school. I love you smiled Brea.

Brea was dreading riding the bus because this will be the first time since Sophomore year because she always rode with Kayden in his car and he isn't even talking to her.
