Part 7

The next morning Brea woke up thinking about what Kayden had to talk to her about.
As she was getting out of the shower her phone buzzed it was a text message from Jacob saying that he will be by later tonight because he something to take care of for his mother.Brea signed what could he possibly have to do her for all day.

Brea made her way downstairs in the kitchen to get breakfast her mother Shauntae had already gone to work. As she was pouring herself a bowl of cereal there was a knock on the door.

Brea answered the door and it was the person she couldn't get off of her mind it was Kayden.

Hi can I please come in said Kayden looking nervous because he hadn't talk to her since his mother passed away.

Hi come in said Brea looking at Kayden wide eyed. 

Kayden walked into the living room and sat on the couch waiting for Brea to sit next to him.

Kayden turned to Brea and started talking.
I need to apologize for being a jerk to you cried Kayden.

It's okay said Brea while holding her down looking at the floor

No it's not you were and still are my best friend frowned Kayden and I let you down. I love you Brea said Kayden as the tears were rolling down his cheeks.

Why now cried Brea. We were best friends and you chose Empress over me.

I'm sorry princess, I never meant to hurt you said Kayden the tears were still rolling down his face as he looked at Brea.

I'm confused replied Brea. I thought you loved Empress and didn't love me like you loved her.

I don't love her never told that I did. It's you I want Brea please give us and chance said Kayden.

I'm with Jacob and your with Empress so how can we be together said Brea.

That's why I wanted to talk really talk to you frowned Kayden the tears were still coming down his face.

What's wrong frowned Brea.

You probably won't believe but I still have to tell you said Kayden. I got to Makayla party late went looking for Empress and was told she went upstairs with Jacob.

Really cried Brea I don't believe you.

Brea you know I wouldn't lie to you right and I never will said Kayden.

Yes replied Brea well what happened after you went upstairs.

When I got upstairs I heard moaning so I went to the room where it was coming from and when I opened the door Empress was on top of Jacob having sex said Kayden.

No wonder he didn't come over like he usually do cried Brea. He told me he had to run errands for his mother this morning and he'll be over tonight.

Kayden pulled Brea into his lap to smooth her because she was crying hysterically. Jacob had broken Brea's heart and she would never forgive him because he betrayed her trust.

It's okay princess cried Kayden. I'm here and not going anywhere he told while placing a kiss on her forehead.

Brea snuggled into Kayden's embrace and fell asleep shortly on Kayden's lap. After an hour of her sleeping peacefully on his lap he woke her up to tell her someone was knocking on her door.

When Brea went to open the door she didn't expect to see Jacob standing on her door step. Kayden got up from his spot on the couch and walked up behind Brea.

Jacob scowled at Kayden. What the hell is he doing said Jacob.
