Do we have too many Pups?

As I recently was looking at random things of the internet I found an argument about Paw Patrol having too much characters.

I mean it's not a big deal. Other shows has the same issue. The bigger problem in my opinion is that we have a lot of characters that simply disappear and rarely can be seen again or never.

For example:

1. The twins.

I personally like them and I believe it's really a shame that they just disappeared and never even showed up since the end of the Mighty Pups sub-series.

2. Rex:

The poor pup didn't even got a lot of screen time. He just disappeared after the last season.

3. Sweetie:

So yeah...Outside of Barkingburg we really didn't seen her to much.

And the list goes on. The big issue is not that we have too many characters. The problem is that the creators aren't doing anything with them. The main focus is always on the main 6 pups and the others are just overshadowed by them. It would be funny if we would get a spin off series where these secondary pups made a team and while the Paw Patrol is doing their usual thing this second team solves some problems too.
