BakuDeku (Mostly focused on Deku)

Quirks

TW: swearing and death

I was always told that ghost weren't real. That they never would be. As a child, I believed this....till my own very eyes proved me wrong.

Izuku stared at the TV. He usually would watch the news. Was it strange? Maybe. But to him it wasn't. He wasn't watching to see his own fame. It was for another reason. Today he had a very large reason on why he was watching the news.

His boyfriend Bakugo had walked in now. "Deku are you seriously watching the news? This late at night?" He asked as he raised an eyebrow. The green haired male looked at him and the blonde instantly knew why Izuku was up so late.

"Are you focused on those missing people? They found all of them you know?" The male had replied.

His freckled faced boyfriend looked at him. "They didn't find the one. The little girl...the one with the parents who had shouted at me...Told me to find her and that if I didn't then I just wasn't a hero." He replied.

Bakugo just gave him an eyeroll. "You cant save everyone. Why don't you just take that in for a moment?" Izuku looked at him with his sad emerald colored eyes. Ones that just made the blonde's heart shatter in an instant. "Look lets go get some sleep alright?" He stated and Izuku gave him a nod.

Bakugo turned off the TV, being rather annoyed by the news at this point. His boyfriend always watched it and he became both immune and annoyed by it. Did that make any sense? Probably not.

Izuku stood up from the couch and followed the angry blonde to their bedroom that they both shared. Soon they both laid down and cuddled up.

"Kacchan?"

"You are suppose to be asleep Deku." The blonde replied keeping his eyes closed.

"What if we never find that little girl?" Izuku asked with a soft and quiet tone.

The blonde opened his eyes a bit and turned to look at the green haired male. He was annoyed because he needed to sleep since he had some hero work to do tomorrow. But he was sad that his boyfriend was sad and upset. He sighed and ran his fingers through his fluffy green hair. "We will find her. Now get some sleep. We both have to work in the morning." He said. Izuku just gave a small nod and soon the two fell asleep

Izuku groaned when he felt a small tug on the back of his shirt. He groaned thinking it was his boyfriend. He slowly opened his eyes to see that his back was facing him. He groaned once again as he slowly sat up. He turned his head a bit to see the missing little girl. Which shocked him.

How did she get into his home? The door was always locked. Windows were always closed along with that.

He stared into her wide ocean blue eyes. She had curly blonde hair with tan skin. She wore a pink dress with no shoes on. Her feet were covered in mud. Bakugo was going to kill someone for having mud get tracked into their home. He knew his boyfriend was a neat freak. He always has been since they were kids.

"Hello...How did you get in here?" He asked in a small whisper. He was usually pretty good with kids. Probably the reason so many of them cling onto him when they see him. He didn't mind it though. He wanted his own kids some day anyways. Though he hadn't talked about it with the blonde. He just never had the right time to do so.

The little girl didn't respond. He saw that as strange. Maybe she was just shy in some sense. He didn't question since he remembered himself being so shy as a child.

The small child simply began to walk away. Outside of his own home. He quickly began to follow from his own curiosity and he simply didn't want the child to be left alone. Especially at night. A young girl at night was clearly not a good idea whatsoever. She could be hurt, kidnapped, even killed. Having a child be killed would hurt him so deeply.

"Where are your parents?" He simply asked as he followed.

Once again the girl didn't speak. Which is what he expected at this point. It seemed she was mute. Almost didn't exist. Like a ghost in some sense.

How did she find him exactly? Why didn't she go to her own home to her family? More important her parents. Maybe a bad home? Though the parents didn't seem like bad people. They seemed to really care about her well being. Even shouting at him saying he wasn't a true hero.

Though. One question just kept floating around his own mind.

How did a little girl survive a building falling?

How did no one find her?

It was strange. She must be one strong kid then. Though he stopped at the fallen building. All the pieces of the building just sitting there. All the broken glass. The metal pipes. Some being bent, others just laying there like nothing ever happened. It was depressing. dead in this rubble. What these people must have felt as the building was falling. The fear. The screams. The cries. Even for him to think about it, it shook him to his core. Though those people didn't die. They just got those feelings. The feeling that they may die.

The small child soon stopped, confusing the green haired male. They just stopped in the middle of nowhere. Near the building.

The pieces slowly came together now. Her finding him at his own home. Her being so quiet. Her being here. It all made sense.

She was dead.

Simply wiped from this Earth.

It wasn't fair for some young child to die like this. It simply just wasn't fair.

Izuku fell down to his knees as he watched the child disappear into thin air. Like she was never there. Just gone.

He could fell hot tears falling down his cheeks. He buried his face into his hands and drowned himself in his own thoughts. His own head. Being lost in your own thoughts wasn't something you wanted to do at times. Especially the dark and negative ones.

He could feel the cold air blow through his hair. He could feel it on his skin, instantly making the hair on his arms stick up. He was getting goosebumps now.

How did all of these people survive besides this small child?

Why didn't anyone bother to try to help her out of the building?

Did her parents actually leave her there to save themselves?

How could people be so cruel?

Izuku almost jumped out of his skin when he felt a hand on his shoulder. A warm and strong one. A familiar hand. He turned around to be faced with a pair of red ruby colored eyes. His boyfriend's red ruby colored eyes.

The blonde simply gave him a small sad smile as he rubbed the green haired male's shoulder. He spoke three simply, yet powering words. Ones that were meant as some sort of reassurance. Which Izuku knew that, even if Bakugo was hard to understand at times.

He simply said...

"You found her."
