"Right! Left! Down! Left!"

The sounds of metal clinging against each other echoed throughout the room as Hyunjin dodged the hits of the sword. His teacher, also friend, going after him with another sword.

Hyunjin pants as he pushes his hair back with a hand. Pieces falling in his face that fell out of his ribbon. His sword pointed at Seungmin as they circled each other.

"You should cut your hair. It's getting in your way." Seungmin says.

"My hair is my crown. Cutting my hair is like taking away my crown. You trying to dethrone the prince?" Hyunjin teases as he lunges forward with his sword. Seungmin taking that opportunity to bring his knee up with his elbow and knock the sword out of his arm. Kicking it away from Hyunjin's grasp.

Hyunjin huffs and stomps his foot as his friend points his sword at him.

"I win." Seungmin smiles making Hyunjin stick his tongue out.

The door to the room opened as Felix stepped inside.

"Prince, the King wishes to see you in the dinning for dinner." Felix bows at the sight of him.

Hyunjin nods and grabs his sword, sticking it in his holder.

"Tomorrow?" Seungmin asked as he cleaned his sword with a cloth.

"Be ready for me to kick your ass." Hyunjin smiles before making his way over to the door. He grabbed his cloak from the hanger as Felix opened the door. Hyunjin walking out into the hall as he swung his cloak around to sit on his shoulders. The metal chains being connected to the sliver buttons to hold it up.

Walking with grace and style. All the servants and guards bowing at the sight of him. Felix following a few feet behind with his hands clasped behind his back.

Hyunjin enters the dining room with high ceilings and gold details. Almost everything in the castle being of gold. Shining with the windows in every room. Almost blinding.

"Have a seat, son." The King nods towards his seat that was at the opposite end of the long table.

The table was long and line with gold items. He always hated how long table was. It created a long distance between him and his Father.

Hyunjin has a seat at his chair as a servant sits a plate in front of him with a gold goblet of wine.

"You wanted to speak with me, Father?" Hyunjin picks up his fork to start eating.

"Wanted to talk about you and the marriage proposal I set up for you." He bluntly states making Hyunjin drop his fork with a clatter.

"You did what?" Hyunjin grits through his teeth.

"Me and the King of Bangtan decided to set you up with his son, Min Yoongi. You'll be getting married next month. It's time that you stop playing with that filthy sword and take your responsibilities as the next King seriously." His Father explains.

Hyunjin slammed his fist on the table as he stands from his chair.

"How dare you! I will not be marrying some stranger!" Hyunjin shouts.

"You will and there is no argument. Now be a good little boy and sit down. Your food is getting cold." His Father nods for him to sit down. Staying oddly calm as he was used to his son's outburst.

You would think by now that there was a problem and he was the cause of it.

Hyunjin picked up his plate and tosses it at the wall. The food making a mess on the floor with the broken pieces of the plate.

"I will not be marrying some stranger." Hyunjin states before marching out the room.

No one dared to step in his path as he makes his way to his room. Feeling like he could kill a whole army with the anger coursing through his veins.

"Jinnie! You willing to come help in the garden?" His personal servant and friend, Jisung, smiles brightly at him. Almost enough to make Hyunjin cool down.

"Not right now, Sung. I'm quite angry and I'm afraid I may hurt the flowers or someone if I don't go cool off." Hyunjin admits softly before he started walking off again.

Hyunjin finally reached his room that was quiet and dark like he liked it. Taking a deep breathe as he shut the door behind him. Ready to throw the biggest fit that may end in his room covered in his pillow feathers again.

Hyunjin let out a frustrated huff as he grabbed his sword and chucks it at the wall. It hitting the wall with a thud before dropping to the floor.

"I hate you!" Hyunjin shouts as he stomps his feet. Jumping up and down as he shouts it over and over again.

"I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!" Hyunjin repeats it like a mantra as he makes his way over to his balcony and throws open the door. Letting the cool air hit him as the night darken.

Hyunjin took a deep breathe as he steps out onto the balcony. Looking at the town below him. It was alive and buzzing with joy. Cheering and laughter coming from the people who had so little.

His Father was a cruel man. Always saying he was thinking of the people but really only thought of himself.

As much as Hyunjin wanted to change things, he didn't want to be King. He wanted to be able to live his own life. As a normal young man. He would be the King till he died because he wouldn't put the burden on someone else to be King.

Hyunjin leans his elbow on the rail as he put his chin in his palm. Watching the street dance with excitement. Wishing he could be down there. Dancing with his friends or having a drink with his lover but here he was.

Stuck in a castle that left him alone.

Hyunjin tried to focus on the town to ease his mind as he noticed something along the forest that lines the town. Huge bright lights were almost walking through the trees.

It made Hyunjin scrunch his nose as he rushed inside to grab his binoculars. He came back and put them to his eyes. Adjusting them to look at the lights he seen.

When he did, he noticed it was a group of people with torches. They walked along a path towards a nearby river. It was a small group. Only about four people who all dressed the same. With fur coats and dark pants.

Hyunjin pulled the binoculars away as he perched his lips. Wondering if he should be concerned about the group that looked oddly suspicious. He put the binoculars back to his eyes to find the group again.

When he finally did, he jumped when he seen one of them looking his direction. He knew he couldn't be looking at him because he couldn't see him but the way his eyes pierced his soul made him believe he could see right through him.

Hyunjin tilts his head as the person smirks at his direction. His eyes flashing a scary yellow color before the torches were dumped into the lake. The light now gone and Hyunjin no longer able to see.

"Ugh!" Hyunjin groans as he pulls the binoculars away.

"Stupid dark time."
