Melanie Johnson has had the same nightmare for 6 years now. After her father left life turned upside down for Melanie. Her mother started drinking, her sister Jenna became really popular and stopped caring for her little sister. What about Melanie? Well She became invisible. That one person everybody know but never talks to.
One day Melanie bumps in to the new kid in school, the mysterious Nashton Sanders. Nashton seems to understand Malanie like nobody ever has. He makes the nightmares disappear. But there is something not quite right about Nashton. Maybe he is as broken as Melanie is.
Will Melanie ever find out Nashton's secrets? Will she ever heal from the wounds that her father caused? Will she ever move on?
This is a story about faith, trust and forgiveness. But what if there is no faith left? What if all the promises are broken? And what if it's too late to forgive?
