Chapter Eight

"Ok Nat I have to go." I say. She jumps up from her spot on Demi's sofa and runs over to me giving me the signature Horan hug which I gave back. "Bye daddy." She says as she kisses my cheek. "Bye love behave for demi ok?" She nods her hand and grins as she runs off to demi who is in her bedroommon the phone with a guy. Or her boyfriend I'm gonna have to tease her about it when I come back.

I walk out her hotel room and get in the elevator were I press the button for the lobby. Something is telling me to stay here but I know I can't be missing work I have to put food on the table and pay bills. Its hard being a single parent but I'm making it. I just wish someone could fill the emptiness in my heart that Nat isn't filling. But I just don't know if I can handle a relationship and a four year old at the same time.

I walk out the hotel and to the lot were I have my car parked. Today something is gonna happen I can feel it. Shaking off the chills I get into my car and start it. Pulling out thee lot I make my way to work. Hopefully it won't be too busy since its a Saturday.

I knock on the door of Demi's hotel room. A couple minutes later it opens to a small girl. With beautiful blue orbs and light brown curls that we seemed to share except my is darker. "Hello is a lady named Demi here?" I ask before she can reply the door opens wider and I see the blue haired girl from the plane.

"Hello Harris." She greets as she picks up the little girl and moves out the way letting me walk in. "Welcome to my crib don't let my pet sharks bite you." Demi jokes as she closes the door. "Oh my I'll be careful." I joke back. And sit down on the sofa in her little living room I assume. She sits the little girl down. And the little girl skips toward me were she sits down near my feet and continue playing with her doll.

"I'll be right back Im gonna order some room service. Would you like anything, Harris?" She asks. I shake my head. "No thank you." She nods. " I want ice cweam!!" The little girl says happily. I chuckle as demi laughs. "Ok Nat but don't tell your daddy."Demi replies and heads off to her room. Nat and I sit in silence before she speaks up. " My name Natawie."

I look at her noticing now her voice has a bit of Irish and British mix. I smile. "Nice to meet you, Natalie. I'm Har-harris." I said. She smiles at me and holds up her doll. "And this Ms.Daisy." she says gesturing toward the doll. "Nice to meet you also Ms.Daisy."

"Why wear sunglasses?" She asks. "Well um -." Think of something Harry. "Well I hurt my eye so um my docter told me I had to ,to wear sunglasses until they're better." I answer. Good one Hazza. She nods. "Are you otay?" I smile. " Yes love I'm okay."

"Ok guys who wants to play just dance 2015 on my Wii?" Demi asks as she comes back in and plops down on the sofa beside me. " I do!" Natalie yells as she jumps up and down hugging Ms.Daisy tightly. I laugh "Sure sounds fun."

"Welcome to Heathers hamburger's how can I help you." I say boredly to the couple in front of me. Today I got assigned to work the counter were people can just take away their food. "Yeah I would just take a famous Heather's salad." A bleach blonde with very slutty clothes. I type in into the register. (Idk what its called). "What do you want, Josh?" She says to the boy beside her. He had brown hair in a little quiff and bright brown eyes with tattoos all down his left arm.

"I'll have the Heathers burger special if the day with large fries and a chocolate shake." He says as he states at me with an unknown look in his eyes. I type in his order "Seriously Josh your gonna get fat."The blonde says. I roll my eyes. " That'll be £14." I say. Josh huffs and pulls out the money ignoring the blondes comment. I go towards were I yell out there order and the other workers start on it.

"It'll be a couple minutes so if you'd like to sit and wait or if youd like to just stand to the side you can." I tell the couple. The blonde sashays away to the tables while the josh guy moves over still staring at me.

After a while he is still staring at me and I'm getting annoyed. "Didn't your mum teach you that staring at people is rude?" I speak up looking at him. He blinks and frowns looking embrassed. " Um sorry your just very good looking. " he says. I look at him confused isn't that chick his girlfriend but I still blush. Which makes him grin." My names Josh Devine. " he says holding out his hand for me to shake.

" Niall Horan." I reply shaking his hand. I must admit he is hot. He pulls out a pen and holds my hand still as he quickly writes something on it. " Call me." he says and grabs his and that girls food which was done as soon as he finished writing his number on my hand and walked out the restaurant. I look at his number on my hand and run my finger over it, smudging it a bit. I let out a breathe and continue back to work. I'll talk to demi about this later.
