chapter 3

Sonic woke up the following day getting ready to go to work, but then he realized he was having some weird stomach pain in his belly doesn't know what was wrong with him. Sonic had to get up anyway, take a shower, and rush to get himself ready and put on his clothes. He started making himself breakfast. After all, he was hungry and started to eat, and he felt a lot better after checking the time to see that it was 6 a.m. still, and he got ready and headed out of the door. Once Sonic got out of the gate, he made it to the bus stop and saw the bus had just arrived the moment it popped up, and he got on it. 

Once the bus stopped, he got off and started walking to the company. He made it there and went upstairs and got all the files as his boss told him to get everything ready, but he also went to the front and asked the security some questions before he started, and this time he made sure to get the right door not the wrong one. Sonic was still tired since he woke up bright and early, and it was like 5 o'clock when he woke up, so it makes sense for him to be tired, but he doesn't want his first day to show that he is tired and looking a little bit lazy or slacking off work. So he looked at the time and realized it was like 7 o'clock, more like 7:15; he got the papers to shadow desk ready. And after he went straight and made some coffee. Make sure it was already so anybody could get it when he realized he only had a bagel. He realized he still had time to go outside and get something since there was a Dunkin donut right across the street from them; Sonic went across the street and brought him to get some bacon, egg, and cheese, and one for his boss to eat, after he went back. He made sure to see if his boss was not here yet, and he was right; he was not here yet, so he went and put a bacon egg and cheese on the desk and made sure the coffee was still hot enough. He realized the coffee got cold automatically went to redo it and then bring another one and put it right there, and he sat there on the couch waiting for his boss.

And that's when he noticed Shadow come in, and he said good morning. When he got up and Shadow said good morning, he was surprised to say he was right above sonic and was a very early morning person. Then Shadow just went and sat down and noticed some stuff on his desk; he asked what these sonic "Since I realized we only have bagels and bread and things in the cafeteria, I decided to get you some bacon, egg, and cheese because it wouldn't be fair to eat some dry bread like that, and I thought it would be good with your coffee." Stated, Shadow was shocked; nobody had ever done that from the office before, not even his ex-security, who never did this for him. So he thanks sonic and says, thank you, you're the first person who ever thought about me that way, and thanks to you again but doesn't believe that I'm spoiling you. You could sit down and eat since you already get my stuff ready. I'll give you some taxes to do once you have done them.

Sonic POV

After I finished eating, I told Shadow I was Finished, and he said, OK, give me a minute, and once Shadow finished eating, he told me to come here; he asked me what plan I have had scheduled for him today. I told him that he had a meeting this morning around 10 o'clock and in the afternoon he also has another meeting around 3 o'clock. After that, he should be able to go to his next meeting, which is a lunch meeting around 5 o'clock, and he said, OK, I should be able to do this before it's time to go home. So he told me that he wanted me to do him a favor around 2:30. There's like a school nearby; he wants me to go pick up his daughter. I was shocked to hear that my boss has a daughter. Should I mean, he does have a wife, and if he has a wife, I'm going to have some trouble with this. I told him OK, I'll go pick her up, so can I get a letter to give to the people up front, so they know that I have permission to pick her up. He said OK, thank you. You also be watching her in the office as I am in a meeting and I will be buying our food to eat for dinner, so I was hoping you could also do me another favor and help her with her homework. And the only reason I'm asking is that she doesn't have a mother around to help Asherah. As my security, I think you're very helpful to her, and I would hire a nanny the day of the interview, but I feel like you're much better as my security but unless you want another job as a nanny at the same time working here that would help. I look at Shadow I don't even know what to say what to do with it thank he wants me to become his nanny, but what is a nanny have to live with him, so I told him I think about it, but I will pick up his daughter so can he give me some time to think about it. He said OK, but I'm not trying to rush you. Could you have all the time to think about it? Thank you again. For some reason, I was happy to hear that he doesn't have a wife and a child needing somebody there for her. I remember he said you could not have a relationship as you are working here. However, it's not a relationship because you're technically still working, but I'm afraid of falling in love with my boss because if you look at him, he's handsome. I finally decided to follow the shadow schedule; we did everything on his plan; he went to his lunch and picked up his daughter. She was super friendly and a sweet little girl. I helped her with her homework, and after when we were waiting for her father, she followed sleep, and I let her sleep the entire time. I also made her eat before she fell asleep. By the time shadow came back, it was like 7 o'clock, and he realized that she was sleeping, and he was reticent about it and asked me to step out for a moment.
