Promises
As we pull into the driveway Juno locks the car doors. Why did she lock the doors? This is plain creepy.
"Why did you lock the doors?" I ask. She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a sharp knife, more like a dagger.
"Juno?" Why does she have a knife. She wouldn't kill her best friend. Right.
"I'm sorry but he said he'd kill my family!" she says as a tear falls down her cheek.
"He's in prison he can't kill them from there." I stammer.
"There's more people and you interfered he has a whole army waiting to kill you. It's best to get it over and done with. I can't lose them." I let a breathe out and watch as it blows one of my loose strands. "Go ahead!" she closes her eyes, gaining the courage before lunging at me.
My eyes snap open, I breathe in and out heavily. It was just a dream. I'm sweaty everywhere. I pinch my arm just to make sure. Yep I'm now officially awake. I must've fallen asleep during the drive. I suddenly realize my surfoundings. Did Juno carry me into my room? I don't know but I know what I have to do.I check outside my door and hear the tv on downstairs, she must be watching it perfect. I walk into the bathroom and lock the door. I begin to run the bath. It slowly fills. I'm going to join them in heaven. Once it's full enough I quickly write a note in soap on the mirror.
Please forgive me,
I can't live this life any longer,

I stand in the freezing water. I shiver but I know I must continue. It's all my fault after all. I sit down, stretching out my legs, I move my toes and close my eyes. Goodbye! I place my head under the water. I close my eyes and tell myself I can not go up for a breath. It gets harder and harder. My lungs feel like they are tightening. All the air is draining. I've never held my breath this long. I slowly count in my head. 1, 2, 3, and so on. Eventually I have to breathe as I gasp for air in a frantic motion while trying to keep my head under water, i see my life flash in front of my eyes, every second of it. The cold, thick water soon begins to fill my lungs and I black out.
