"He killed me and my little sister"

"That doesn't mean he deserved to die!" Virgil snapped, not thinking about what he was saying. "He had two f*ck*ng sons at home! All they had left was him!" Everyone looked at him, surprised by his yelling and even more surprised to hear his voice crack and see tears in his eyes. "Those two boys watched everyone in their family die. They lost the only person that still cared for them and you had the bloody nerve to say he deserved to die."

"Why are you defending a murder?" Janus asked. "I don't care if he had a family, he destroyed others because he wanted to."

"Because he wanted his family back, and he thought he could give them better lives." Virgil corrected, having been told the truth years ago. "You should watch what you say before you know the whole story."

"And you know the story?" Logan asked, everyone thinking along the same lines. Well, almost everyone.

Virgil swallowed back the lump in his throat that had formed from holding back tears as he nodded. "Yeah, I know it." He practically whispered, his voice brittle and breaking. "I know it because I lived it."

"What do you mean you lived it?" Patton asked, who had curled in on himself once the yelling had started.

"I mean my dad is William Afton." Virgil muttered. "I watched C.C get his frontal lob get bitten off, I walked right in as Elizabeth got dragged into Circus Baby, I was in school when we were told Isabelle had died, and I was told that my dad had been springlocked. That's what I mean when I say I lived it."

The room went quiet, everyone surprised at what Virgil had been through. Sure Remus already knew, but he hadn't been told this information until now.

"I'm sorry you had to go through that Vir-" Roman started.

"Don't." Virgil interrupted. "I got enough of that while I was alive. It's lost all meaning by now."

"I'd hate to bring everyone down more but.." Logan started, not exactly sure how to word this. "Does anyone think it's a good idea to have the son of a child murder here? I mean, I'm now seeing how Virgil, when it comes to some things, can have violet tenderness. A few days ago he threatened Janus and Remus' lives."

The other sides all looked at one another, with the same look on their faces. "You're- you're kidding, right?" Virgil asked, recognizing the look they had. They were scared of him. Even Remus seemed slightly scared. "I'm not going to hurt, let alone kill, any of you."

"How can we be sure?" Roman asked. "You did threaten their lives, and killing does run in the family. I mean, look at your father and I'm pretty sure it was Michael Afton who put C.C's head in the mouth of that robot."

"First, it was a prank. That never was supposed to happen. Second, don't call us robots. We're animatronics." Virgil corrected. "And third, my dad hates himself for murdering those kids. He's told me that if he could, he would go back to stop those murders from happening."

"You've talked to him?" Janus asked, not liking the sound of that. "How? He's dead."

"He's died three different times." Virgil started. "He always comes back. There's nothing that can kill him, and make him stay dead."

"How have you talked to him?" Logan asked, deciding to come back to Virgil saying 'We're animatronics' and not 'They're animatronic.'

"Like I would tell you. Michael doesn't even know I've been talking to him."
