I do not own Naruto, Kishimoto does

Ino stood in black and purple darkness, the only things visible to her was the giant grey brain in front of her, and her father standing to her right.

"Whoa, are we in his head?" Ino asked. The unexpected landscape still leaving her in a surprised shock. Her progression in her clan's jutsu, as well as her own strength has been exponential since she partook in the chunnin exams, but this was still the first time she has ever used the mind transmission.

"Yes, we are. I'm proud of you Ino." Inoichi replied.

"Why?" Ino asked confused.

"You were able to do it on your first try. Not many can, it took me four tries to finally break into someone's mind. And they weren't defending themselves either just like this boy." He patted his daughter's shoulder, a large proud smile on his face.

Ino returned her father's smile, her self-confidence climbing. "Thank you, Dad." Ino took another look around, before taking a few steps towards the wrinkly grey matter. "So, Dad do you think he was telling the truth. I mean it sounds kinda crazy right?"

Inoichi put his hand under his chin as he thought of an answer. "Well, it is a tale that seems far out of the realm of possibility. Even for someone like myself who has seen many weird things in the past. However, there are still many things in the world that we don't understand. Especially when it concerns the famous sharingan."

"Is the sharingan really that special?" Ino asked turning to her father.

Inoichi softly nodded, "Yes, it's a very special dojutsu. As well as very powerful. If what this boy said is true it is no wonder that his world sounds so devastating." Inoichi put a hand on his daughter's shoulder. "Don't worry though, its likely that his story is false, and he isn't an Uchiha."

"Well, I guess your right about that. If he is an Uchiha I can't help but wonder how Sasuke would feel about that." Ino said with a small smile.

"I can't really say, I personally didn't know the boy that well. But if I were to wager a guess, I would assume it would be a shock. Are you still fond of that kid?" Inoichi asked.

Ino took a deep breath, "no, not really. Well maybe a little. It's not easy to fully get over your first crush."

Inoichi quizzically eyed his daughter, before glancing to the brain set in front of him. "Well come on, we only have a few minutes in here, so we have to sift through as much as we can." Inoichi walked closer to the large brain and lifted his right hand. An incredibly long file cabinet drawer opened from the brain extending all the way to her father. "Now just lift up your hand and with your chakra draw out the memories. It helps if you visualize them as files as I did. It's better organized this way, and if your visualization is exceptional, you can even get it categorized by age."

Ino followed her father's instructions, she lifted her right hand and closed her eyes. She thought of a large cabinet drawer similar to her father's. She felt the rise in her chakra extend from her hand and come into contact with the brain. Ino's eyes opened in time to see another long drawer extend towards her.

"Good, now just pick a file with your mind and let the memory flow through you. Don't get scared when you hear his thoughts, it is a little weird and it sounds a lot louder than our own thoughts. Just find a way to acclimate to it quickly and try to take in as much information as you can." Inoichi said.
