A Percabeth story.

My palms sweat and stomach twists into a knot, my first day of school in New York is today. I haven't seen any of my friends since I moved to California in the 5th grade. I'm so excited to see Percy, Thalia, Piper and Rachael, mostly Percy though.

Today I went with my favourite black skirt and black crop top, black lace flats and dark make up to make my eyes pop and stand out, I want to make a fantastic first impression. I walk confidently to the office with my head up and my blonde curls fly behind me. Wolf whistle and whoops come from almost all the guys, I scowl and ignore them best I can. A girl with fiery red hair gives me this look.. Oh my Gods is that Rachael?!? She was wearing ripped skinny jeans and a baby blue art T-shirt. She was talking with Piper?!?! Holy shit they look so different. Piper's hair grew out in a nice way, a purple feather was clipped in her hair, she's wearing a cheerleaders uniform, a warm smile on her perfectly tanned face. Both has curiosity in their eyes, I looked away wanting to get my schedule first. The secretary looked annoyed, her lifeless brown eyes dart to mine. She gave a forced cold smile.

"You must be Annabeth Chase. Here's your schedule now go away." She shoves a sheet at me then keeps typing as if I'm not even here.

"Well.. Okay." I snatch it from the counter and go back into the crazy wild hallway. When I see Rachael and Piper Jason and Percy are with them, Oh Gods Percy.  He's more gorgeous then I remembered. I hesitantly walk towards them. A smile tugging at my lips when I hear his laughter. They all stop when they see me, they don't talk or move. Like frozen statues, stuck in a trance. I giggle and give a tiny wave,

"Hi..." I say awkwardly. Percy is the first to move, he grins his sea green eyes flaring with excitement. We fling at each other. He picks me up and spins me, I laugh and squeeze him tight, he squeezes back.

"Annabeth?!?! What? Why are you here gods its been ages since I've seen you." He talks quickly and looks at me intensely,  like I'm going to disappear any second.

"Mom got a transfer, her and dad will be working with your dad." His eyes never leave mine, and until Piper cleared her throat I hadn't realized Percy and I were locked in a tight embrace.

"Ah Piper!! Jason!! Rachael!!! Eeek I missed you guys so much." I squeal and hug them all. I look up at Jason and smirk,

"Nice glasses Grace" he laughs and pushes them back up,

"Always nice to see you too Chase. And thanks got them three years ago." I wonder what I else I missed.  Piper and Jason's hands link together, mm I wonder when. What I don't understand is Why Rachael is scowling at me,

"Hey Rach what's wrong?" I try give her another hug but she backs away. Looking upset, her green eyes water and she rushes off.

"Oh God what did I do?" Jason looks at Percy who shakes his head no, he chases after leaving me confused. I look at Piper desperately looking for an answer.

"Okay what's wrong? What did I do." Piper looks sympathetic she puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Well um... Percy and Rachael... They... they're dating." She flinches away expecting me to explode. Old me would have but I kept a blank face, even though it feels like someone ran me over with a monster truck.

"Well how nice for them, but what do I have to do with it?"my eyebrows rise up and I ask it as casually as I can. They both look completely caught off guard.

"You know I actually don't know.. Why don't you care? I mean about Percy and Rachael?" Jason blurts out, he covers his mouth right away, acting like I might hurt him if he says the wrong thing.

"They're both my friends and I care about them but Hey I don't own them they can date whom ever they want" I shrug my shoulder acting like I can care less, but in reality Percy should be mine, I've liked him longer. I can't believe Rachael would do this to me. She should keep a close eye on him otherwise he'll be mine in no time. I smirk just thinking of all the outcomes of this.

"Well what are you waiting for? Let's go see everyone else I have loads to catch up on." Piper and Jason both nod, smiling and directing me to the others. I really can't wait, especially to see Thals and Luke. My first friends ever.

Okay guys I'm rusty so don't judge to harshly I needed something to do besides pissing off my dads. So please tell me how it is, and just so you guys know this is like my teaser or like prologue,  the next one will be longer. I might delete the first two chapters. So uh yeah haha Bye.
