"so good!" asta says as he stuffs a lot of food in his mouth as I just stood there as I drank my drink

"oh dear, asta you have some sauce on your mouth," Mimosa says and she wipes the sauce away from his mouth but immidiently turns away blushing. this girl has a crush on asta too

"Forgive me! I'm being too forward!"

"Thank you, Mimosa," this kid never knows when girls are head over heels for him...

"you look like a child," I say

"your eating entirely too much, I thought you were going to be more cautious,"

"Y-Yeah! look at you, getting your mouth wiped like a baby. not that I care slightest," Noelle says then looks away with her cheeks red. she knows that I know she likes asta but for Mimosa, it's easy to know she likes him

"But I'm on my guard. normally, I'd eat at least this much!" then he suddenly chokes on his food making me laugh a little

"you can't be serious," (yuno)

"I'm worried," (Klaus)

"your just dumb, that's why you eat too much," I said

"HUH?!" asta says but I ignored him as I drink another cup of my drink then we heard someone talk but I ignored it as well but then I heard something that was ear-piercing it was very loud so I put my cup down and covered my ears and kaashi covered Naru's ears

- a few minutes later -

after the song, the next thing we knew is lady Mereoleona bringing a beat-up mage here

"a spy from the eye of the midnight sun?!" asta says surprised

" I can't believe there really was one..." Noelle adds and I tensed up

"second-place rookie, apparently, he was following you," I knew it. there was something off with asta's shadow when I looked at it Like mana was coming from it

"I questioned him without killing him, but apparently the enemy hasn't noticed any of our movements. therefore, we will be moving up the operation's start time. we strike the eye of the midnight sun's hideout tomorrow morning," what? tomorrow morning? at the base... where I spent half of my life in... we are attacking it tomorrow?

"T-Tomorrow?"

"not in three days?"

"make sure you get plenty of rest tonight. that's all," Mereoleona said then left with captain Nozel dragging the beat-up mage

"we will be leaving tomorrow morning? how sad, cause y/n won't get enough sleep," Kaashi says and I shook my head and sighed

"tomorrow... we will be defeating those who I grew a bond with," I said quietly and Kaashi nods

"we will be settling this tomorrow,"

we had arrived at the magic region and it was filled with fog and in front of the base of the eye of the midnight sun...

"Holy crap! there's a castle floating in the sky!" asta says as I view the base getting memories of when I have been here which was months ago

"That's the eye of the midnight sun's hideout," Noelle says and I nodded then the guy with the sandstone magic started creating a map that showed the base and its insides and ways
