Hunted

Chapter 3

This chapter is in Miles' P.O.V also it's gonna be short but I hope you enjoy! Picture of Nuntis is to the side. :)

Miles P.O.V

Aiming for the target I felt someone's lips at my neck. I immediately tensed and as soon as the lips were removed shuddered. It was a good kind of shudder though.

Mhm, Nuntis sighed in approval.

I turned to see no one behind me. Shrugging it off I turned back to the target and was about to take my shot when in one move my trousers were at my ankles and my duck boxers were on show.

Well I regret wearing these today.

"EVERRRR!!!!!". Seeing the culprit I raced off into the woods after her.
Nuntis was enjoying the chase of the girl we both adored.

Stopping at an old oak tree I closed my eyes and sniffed the air. Her scent hit my nose like a bullet.

Her scent was mouthwatering, cinnamon and freshly cut grass.

"Well what brings you here." Smiling innocently she stood up on the branch she was perched on.

"Don't give me the innocence Ever, I know it was you." I crossed my arms over my chest giving her the once over. Damn she was beautiful.

"Little innocent old me? Why I nev-" She stopped mid sentence, panic swirling in her Icey blue, Amber flecked eyes.

"Ever? Wha-" I was shushed.

"Rouges!" She mouthed.

I froze the moment the word left her full lips.

As on cue five rouges came out from the trees hiding them from sight and growled.

Ever jumped down from where she was onto the ground, "Shift." She ordered dominance lacing her words. She was so hot when she went all Alpha.

The leader, or so it looked, shifted from his blood matted grey wolf and directed the others to do the same.
Standing there in all their naked glory they looked to us with hatred.

"You are hunters.. But there's also an animalistic side to you." A woman rouge with greying hair said looking to Ever.

"No we are just hunters." I stuck my head up glaring at her.

"That cannot be I detect wolf within." The old dog cackled.

"Well we'll soon find out won't we." The leader had a crazy look in his eyes.

Suddenly all five rouges shifted and attacked. Two went for me while the other three ran after Ever.

E~ Why do I get three!?
M~ Because you seem more of a leader I guess..
E~ But-
M~ Watch out!

On cue a rouge with blond fur bit into Ever's side, her Crimson blood mixing with her saliva.

She growled and pulled open the she-rouges mouth until she heard a crack. It was the most horrific thing I had seen. She released her and began to shake.

"Ever don't!" I shouted pushing a filthy rouge off me.

I was too late though. She shifted into her gorgeously dangerous wolf. Swiftly attacking the three rouges getting in her way.

Seeing her take care of herself I attacked the rouge closer to me snapping his neck with my bare hands, the others head snapped from his fellow rouge to me. Rage filled his eyes and it looked as if he'd lost his bound.

That's because that was his bound, Nuntis stated.
Ohh shit.

The rouge howled in pain and attacked anger blinding him. Snapping at me I caught his muzzle and tore his jaw straight off. He dropped to the floor beside his bound. Their blood mixing.

I looked over to Ever. Her wolf was raging, looking more bloodthirsty than I've ever seen.

"Shhh, calm down. Its okay." I patted her fur. Her midnight fur felt soft against my skin. She purred and leaned in closer to my touch sending tingles through me. Satisfied, Nuntis growled possessively.

Chuckling I said, "Now you've calmed down shift back. We can't have them know about you."

I took off my jumper and handed it to her. Giving me a smile she pulled it over her head but not before I glanced at her body. I felt myself harden taking her in lustfully. Hey what's a guy to do!

"Ever, what happened there. I mean you looked so bloodthirsty in wolf form." I questioned tearing my eyes from her.

Thinking it over she replied,"I'm not sure, Lunar and I just wanted rid of all evil in the world.. It felt powering to say the least." She looked up to meet my gaze. "Now let's head back. I'm starving."

As she took a step I grabbed her wrist. Shocked, she looked up. "Ever, you're side. Th-the rouge bit you. You need that checked." I said worriedly.

She smiled her usual breathtaking smile and hugged me. I tensed out of shock before hugging her back.

We stayed like that for a few minutes and it was pure bliss before she whispered,"Thanks for caring."

And honestly I'd do anything.
