Chapter 4

Ever's P.O.V

The next day news of the rouge attack spread like wild fire. They also found out about another wolf.. Who stuck up for them and murdered the rouges. They were talking about Lunar.

"Darling Ever, how are you?" The man who took Miles and I in as babies said to me.

"Markus, what are you doing back?" I ran over to him and embraced him in a bone crushing hug. He'd been gone for 6 months to train a nearby Hunter camp. I missed him like crazy! After all he was the closest thing I had to a dad.

"Wow, someone's been training harder. Last time I left you Kirsty was stronger, and if you're weaker than Kirsty.. well you're weak all together. So what's changed?" Markus examined me as if I was bitten by a radioactive spider.

"Shit.. the shift." Markus cursed to himself before running off.

"Markus? Where are you go-"

"Go get Miles this instant!" He cut me off.

Running up to Miles' bedroom I opened his door to find his blankets a bundled mess on his bed and the sound of the shower on. My heart sped up thinking of it. Taking a seat on his bed I waited for around 10 minutes before the shower turned off.

"Agh!!! Ever!?" Looking up I seen a heavenly Miles wrapped in a small towel that only covered his lower regions. Taking in his v-line and six pack I tried to stop myself from drooling and well.. jumping him.

Damn, Lunar purred.

"Uhm, hi. Markus sent me to get you he needs us for, uhm, s-something." Blushing I stood up off the bed.

"Oh ok. Evs you've got a bit of drool on the side of your face." He smirked.

Shocked I wiped my face to find nothing. Nothing! The bitch was joking with me.

"Oh-my-God! You fell for it!" He wiped an imaginary tear from under his eye.

I scowled and stomped downstairs to Markus. Taking a seat on the coach I waited for the asshat I call my best friend to walk downstairs.

5 minutes later he showed taking a seat next to me.

"Ah Miles! Glad you could join us" Markus smiled.

"Hey Mar-mars." Miles beamed.

"Ok so I called you here because I know what you two are and I'm sorry that I wasn't here for your first shift or to explain now-"

I cut him off shocked, "What!?"

"Oh come now Ever. Listen to what I have to say and if you still have questions later I'll answer them. Now as I was saying, your parents and I were good friends so I do know what you both are. I took you in when you both were babies as your parents were in hiding and had been found. People..Bad people wanted the both of you as you were a special kind of werewolves. Only two in existence. You see the Moon Goddess and Sun God were murdered and their souls or wolves needed a new form to take. The day they both were killed, the two of you were born. The Moon Goddess or Moon-Wolf took baby Evers form and the Sun God or Sun-Wolf took baby Miles' form. Although your names are in fact not Miles and Ever that's just a cover up so the bad people don't find you and try to extract Lunar and Nuntis from you both."

I cut him off once again, "Wait a second.. you know the names of our wolves?"

Exasperated he said, "Yes, please stop interrupting me. Your parents left you letters and other gifts I wasn't supposed to give to you both until your first shift, unfortunately I wasn't here but it's better late than never I guess so here you go." He handed me a baby basket filled with wrapped items and a letter addressed to Princess Jadia Savia Melody Romala. Who in the heck...?

Puzzled I looked up to Markus,"Uhm Markus you must have me mistaken. My names Ever..not Jadia Savia Melody Romala."

"Actually Ever is a cover up name. Your correct name is Princess Jadia Savia Melody Romala of the Southern Hemisphere and Miles' is Prince Alexander Xavier Lucian Rolans of the Northern Hemisphere." Markus says walking out, "If you need me I'll be packing my things."

"Where are we going." Mile- I mean Alexander said looking up to Markus confused.

"Home." He said excited running of to pack.

I didn't dare open the letter of gifts I had just been given. I was worried. Afraid even.

Carrying my basket upstairs I wished Alexander a good night and began thinking.

I shoved the basket under my bed for another day and the minute my head hit my soft pillow I was out like a light.
