"Now, what's this? What's wrong with you?"

I flinched as i looked back to see Seungwan and my Father confusingly looking around then back at me.

I mirrored their look, "What's what?" I murmured, turning back to my horse as i continued feeding it. 

"That! You look like you've been talking to someone you fancy." The old man murmured back as he darted his eyes around again. "There's no one here though." He added.

"Exactly." I snorted as i turned back to them again. "And Ms Son, what are you even doing here?" I raised a brow, crossing my arms at her.

"What do you mean what am i doing here? Don't you want me here?" She pouted, giving me a saddened look.

"That doesn't really constitute in why you're out of your bed tonight, i thought you were sick." I knitted my brows together as she wheezed.

"Not anymore." She waved her arms around, almost hitting me and my horse. "We're actually going to the nearby tavern, that's why i'm here right infront of you." She flipped her hair off her shoulder.

"Tavern?" 

"Mhm, mr. park has a royal conference to attend!" She whispered-yelled as this still didn't stray my confused look off, my mouth parted questioningly.

"Let's go, we'll show you the way." The old man chuckled, untying his horse nearby as this still didn't answer my question.

We walked across this path where a shortcut is located, said by the old man as i darted my eyes behind us from time to time.

"If an opened tavern is prohibited this time of the night.. then, why are we even going there?!" I whispered-yelled to my Father as he only ignored me, turning to a corner.

Seungwan cackled behind me as i glared back at her, kicking the horse by its belly as it whinnied causing Seungwan to screech and hold tightly to me.

It was my turn to cackle at her.

To be honest, i don't know why i'm so calm in riding horses now. Earlier in the morning, i remember praying for my life to all the gods that exists out there. 

We arrived at a hidden tavern as indistinct chatters was heard from inside, i silently winced as Seungwan got off my horse as she quickly entered the tavern.
