The start of a new life

Lilith yawned from her room and sat up. She walked into the kitchen and began breakfast for her younger siblings while washing the dishes. Next person awake was Joy. She jumped up from her bed with a smile. She rushed into the bathroom and spent a couple hours in there.

Jasper turned over in his bed and looked out the window. He waved to his friend Danny and Danny waved back. Jasper smiled and crawled out of bed. He went to the bathroom and turned the door knob. He glared and bangers on the door.

"Joy!", he bellowed, "Get out off the bathroom!" He whined. Joy then opened the bathroom door and scuffed in his face. She flipped her hair in his face.

He walked into the bathroom and immediately coughed. The smell of perfume struck his nose and he scrunched up his face in disgust. He held his breathe and closed the bathroom door behind him.

Lilith turned her head and yelled for the twins to wake up. Jasper got out the shower and looked in the mirror. He sighed and took in his appearance. He had some muscles but they weren't that noticeable with his scrawny build. The boy sighed and ran a nervous hand through his purple hair. He had lessons with Jericho and Howzer today and he was very nervous. Especially since Jericho checks his body for injuries and for muscle build before they start with the training.

Poor Jasper was always too insecure so Jericho usually counted up to five for him to strip to his underwear. The purple haired boy combed his fluffy hair in front of his eyes and pulled on his baggy green shirt and slightly baggy black pants. He walked out of the bathroom and avoided a trap set of Joy by the twins.

Jasper sat the table. Lilith moves his hair out of the way and kissed his forehead. "Jasper-"

"I'm going to the bakery after training for work. I'll probably steal some bread." Lilith nodded.

Jasper and Lilith were the best at stealing among the siblings. The twins came at second best while Joy didn't steal. Lilith basically raises the kids when Alexis and Ban are away. Which doesn't bother their kids.

"You know Jas, you shouldn't let Joy wall all over you when mom and dad aren't here."

Jasper looked to the side. "It's better me than anyone else. I am the weakest in the family—"

"Jasper. You and I both know that's not true. Your one of the strongest in the family." Lilith said sweetly and placed a hand on his shoulder. Jasper stayed quiet. Lilith sighed and went back to cooking. "I don't understand why you act like your so weak. Your very strong, you just have a big heart." Lilith smiled.

"And your heart is you best weapon." Jasper laughed. "That's corny."

Lilith chuckled. "I know, that's why I said it Jas." She smiled. He shook his head. Lilith placed breakfast at the table and called everyone else to the meal. Jasper made sure to bring his secret rabbit a carrot after he ate.

He left in a hurry desperately trying to escape Joy. Which didn't work out for the poor boy. "Have fun drooling over Howzer while you get your ass kicked!" She yelled from the kitchen followed by a laugh. Jasper gripped the carrot tighter in his hand and smirked. "Have fun with your boyfriend drooling over me while I train." He said and ran out the house. Joy gasped and screamed that Jasper was dead. Lilith laughed proud that Jasper stood up to her some. Although it was very unlikely that it would happen again and he probably did it out of anger for the rabbit that she murdered in front of him.

Joy growled and stomped into her room after eating. The twins laughed. They were neutral when it came to Jasper and Joy. But they loved a good come back let alone show. The twins ate their food and went gave their dishes to Lilith. She smiled at them.

"Hurry up before you kiss Elizabeth and King's lessons." Lilith said sternly.

"But—"

"You don't want me to get mad do you?" Lilith asked sweetly. The twins shivered remembering how Lilith is when she gets upset. They shook their heads and scurried off. Joy screamed and Lilith groaned. She paused washing the dishes. "What now."

Lilith wiped her hands and walked to see Joy covered in green powder. "Look at what theses demons did to me?! I have a date!"

"To bad." Lilith looked around. She grabbed a clean white dress and a towel. "Here. Have fun." She smiled fairly and gave them to Joy. Lilith walked away with a sigh. She finished washing the dishes and cleaned the house. Lilith looked and saw that Jasper left the lunch she made for him. She sighed and grabbed it. "Joy hurry up and leave!" She demanded. Joy grumbled about how she already wore that dress earlier in the month and left the house to see her boyfriend. That had no interest in her and had the biggest crush on Jasper and Lilith.

Although Joy was to blind to see it. Lilith locked up the house and went to the forest. She didn't see Jasper and sighed. She went to where Jericho and Howzer were training Jasper. She stared in awe. Jasper was fighting Jericho with a sword and they were almost evenly matched. Jasper was faster than her and more agile but she had more experience and techniques. Then Howzer joined in.

Jasper was dodging Howzer while swinging his sword at Jericho. Lilith couldn't help but smile. Danny sat there staring at the shirtless Jasper as he fought two opponents that were both stronger than him. Howzer connected a punch with Jasper's face.

Jasper was stunned slightly and Jericho kicked him in the stomach. He flew back losing his sword. Jasper glared and stood up. He wiped blood and sweat from his forehead. Jasper got up and grabbed his sword. Howzer charged at him and Jasper jumped out of the way. He kicked Howzer in the face and punched him in the stomach. He then lifted his leg and brought it down on Howzer's head.

Howzer crashed into the ground breaking it. Jasper drug his sword behind him while walking towards Jericho smiled towards him.

They rushed at each other and clashed swords. Jasper landed a few cuts on Jericho but he was more battered and bruised. He kicked her in the stomach then punched her up. Before she could hit the ground he kicked her into the nearby forest. Resulting in some trees falling.

Jasper was out of breath. He checked to see if Jericho was ok. Which she was. She smiled at him proud. "Sorry." Jasper apologized looking at her. He felt bad that for hurting her and Howzer.

Lilith smiled. "You forgot your lunch. Good job out here. You wiped the floor with them little bro." She beamed and ruffled his hair. Jasper smiled back at her. "Double thanks." He said and took the food. All that fighting made him hungry.

Lilith smiled. "I'm not that only one you impressed." She said and pointed at Danny. Jasper looked at where she was pointing and spotted the taller and slightly more buff boy. Jasper chuckled and jogged over time Danny.

"Your the same color as your hair."

Danny blushed more. "Y-you were great!" Jasper blushed at the compliment. "Thanks."

Lilith smiled at the two. "How adorable.." She mumbled and walked off.
