First Person POV
Roy Harper.... Roy Harper.... Roy Harper....
*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*
Oh shit, I forgot. I was suppose to be training with the boys. Fuck!
Knock knock
"Come in!" I said.
"Hey kiddo, I packed your duffle bag. Here are your workout clothes and your suit. You should get dressed and get going. You don't want to be late with your training. I suggest you get to it." Said Selina.
I nodded and quickly got dressed.
I grabbed a granola bar and an apple juice before heading to Mount Rushmore.
"Recognize, Devon Rex B10." Said the voice.
"Devon Rex huh?" Speedy smirked.
"Uh... I'm kind of late rn. I should go ahead and warm up." I said as an excuse to hide my blush.
I heard him chuckle.
"Wait, why is everyone in their suits? Is it required because I'm feeling a bit like a dummy right now." I asked with uncertainty.
"It's optional, you can totally train in your workout clothes." Said Aqualad.
"Thank you." I sigh.
Aqualad smiled.
I placed down my bag to warm up and prepare myself.
"Look who decide to join us today." A male voice spoke up.
I immediately lifted your head up to see Robin.
"Oh, hey Robin." I said.
"Hey Dev." He said.
Seriously, is everyone in their suits but me?
"Hey." Said a guy who appeared to look like Superman.
"Finally someone without a suit. Also, why are you shirtless?" I asked him.
"Got a problem?" He leaned in with a glare.
"No sir." I said.
"Connor, this is Dev." Said Robin.
"Short for Devon Rex. Right now, I'm (Name)." I fake smiled.
Connor glared and left with a grunt.
What's his problem?
"He's also new. He'll get used to you." Said Robin.
"I sure hope so. I'm not planning to leave anytime soon because of a certain someone." I half growled.
"Would that person be me?" Said Speedy as he walked in.
"No, you muffinhead. I was referring to Catwoman." I spoke up.
"I was kidding..." He said.
"Conner kinda gave her a bad impression." Robin whispered to Speedy.
"Ooohhh." He said.
"Hey guys, did I miss anything?" A red head kid walked in.
That guy does have red hair like Roy but Ik for sure it ain't Roy. My suspicions confirm that Speedy is Roy. Some heroes are for sure bad at concealing themselves.
"Nope, we're just talking." I replied.
"Oh hey, who are you?" The guy asked.
"I'm (Name) aka Devon Rex or Dev for short. I'm new to the team." I softly smiled.
"Welcome. I'm Wally West. Kid Flash." He smiled.
"I think that's everyone." Said Aqualad.
"Let's get into pairs.'" Robin suggested.
"Good call. (Name) you will be with Speedy. Robin, you with Wally." Aqualad ordered.
Speedy walked towards me and smirked.
"Hey partner." He smiled.
"Hey Roy." I said.
"You knew. How did you figure it out?" He grinned.
"It was obvious. Your hair and sunglasses gave it away. Not many people in this world have natural red hair and you used sunglasses back at the gas station." I said.
"I see, you're a smart girl." He said as he inched closer to me.
I walked back as an instinct.
"No, you're just bad at concealing yourself. Who's slow enough to be fooled?" I said.
"Maybe I wanted to reveal myself to you." Roy grinned and walked even more close.
"Easy there Smoothy McSmootherton." I said as continued to walk back until my back hit the wall.
"Talk, talk and no action." Roy grinned.
I lifted my head slowly and headbutted Roy.
"Gah! Aggresive, I see." He said.
Dang! This guy has a sharp chin line. He could literally cut open my skull!
I got into a stance and stayed in defense for most of the time.
"HUH!!!" I gasped and pretended to look scared.
"What?" Roy asked and turned around.
I got down and sweeped his legs causing him to fall on his butt.
"Cheater." He said.
"Am not! You can't always be distracted Roy. You must always be on guard." I pouted.
"Okay Mr. Miyagi." He teased.
I turned to the side to hide the fact that I was laughing.
I was so busy laughing to the point where Roy tackled me.
"Maybe you should follow your own advice." He smirked.
"Oh yeah?" I said.
"I should teach you some tricks." Roy smirked.
"Training is over. Now, stop flirting." Said Aqualad.
Third person POV
"Flirting? No way!" (Name) scoffed.
"Whatever. Said Aqualad.
"Move it, carrot head!" (Name) said to Roy.
"Who you calling carrot head!" Roy playfully pouted.
(Name) smirked and walked out of the training room to take a quick shower.
After taking a shower, (Name) grabbed a set of clothes from her bag and slipped them on.
"Now what?" Roy asked.
"I'm going home." (Name) said.
"Wait, stop. Let me take you out, just this one time." Said Roy.
"One time?" (Name) scoffed.
"We'll yeah. Come on, let's go." Said Roy as he motioned (Name) to follow him.
