"Hush my friends, the princess is just in this room." The elder satyr uttered. "We must stay quiet so she does not awaken. For if she does, our plan will fail and we will never take over the realms."
The light he was holding dimmed and he cut the oxygen flow to the fluttering flame. Or at least what appeared to be a flame. If you looked closer you would be able to see a small face, and glowing hair. And that as the oxygen was cut off, the small fairy fell to the bottom of the jar. An innocent death, unneeded and avoidable.
As a small thud sounded, as the youngest satyr stumbled into a small table, causing it to fall onto the marble floor, just barely catching the ornate vase that had been sitting on it a moment before.
"S- sorry Alder. It was an a-accident."
"Don't do it again then Ash, no one likes a clumsy satyr."
"Hey it's ok Ash. Adler is just a bit grouchy, he's waited so long for this." The third satyr (Glenn) grumbled.
The three satyrs open the door a crack just to check it's the correct room. Sure enough, in front of the tall oak door there was the princess's bed.
Alder, Ash and Glenn creeped inside quietly each pulling out a dagger and a long piece of rope or cloth. Silently, Ash gagged the younger princess while muttering an incantation under his breath to keep her asleep. Her eyes fluttered, and they all stopped in the tracks and stood completely still. Her eyes stopped moving and they carried on scurrying around the room collecting expensive items and breaking others to make it look like a robbery gone wrong rather than a kidnapping.
They bound the girl's wrists and ankles so she wouldn't escape and hurried out of the room with the princess and expensive items in tow.
