after the stunt that sunghoon pulled, yuri dragged him to the nearest classroom to scold him while heeseung felt a pang of rage when they kissed.

"yah, did you know what you just did?"

"mhm, i just made your chances of that guy liking you back even higher." he said calmly.

"i'm not talking about that. i'm talking about those pictures of the students took." she exclaimed.

"what?"

"if those pictures get on the news or any type of sns platform, my dad will find it and will want to know who you are."

"cmon, the man probably doesn't even know what social media apps are."

"ugh, whatever. just delete that video of me now." yuri said.

"nope, i'll delete it once we 'break up'. i don't know whether you're gonna betray me after this or not. do you think you'd trust yourself?" sunghoon raised a brow.

"never mind." she felt defeated. yuri was surprised sunghoon knew she would do that.

"now let's go. act normal like we practiced." he grabbed her hand.

"yah-" once the got out of the room, yuri's frown quickly disappeared as a smile was there instead. sunghoon chuckled from the fast switch up and got closer.

"good job, you're finally learning how to listen." sunghoon whispered.

"shut up." she said through her smile.

the two walked down the halls while sunghoon was walking to her class, people whispering and secretly taking pictures.

"bye yuri-ah," sunghoon smiled as he gave her a peck on the cheek.

the student around them were surprised since he was smiling because of some other girl, and not hyejin, as well as kissing her.

then sunghoon hugged her as yuri just stood still, astonished by his actions but blushing a little bit.

"cmon, do something. you're making this look awkward." he whispered.

she quickly smiled and hugged him back.

"sunghoon-ah, will you take me to a date later?" she asked.

"of course, anything for you." sunghoon cupped her cheeks. he gave a light peck on her hand before leaving as yuri had mixed feelings inside.

'it's okay.. it's just pretend..' yuri thought to herself.

once she got into the classroom, heeseung was there to block her way.

"i honestly thought i was your first choice. i never knew i had some kind of competition."

"bold of you to assume that you were my first choice, now move." yuri scoffed as she tried to walk around him but he wouldn't let her get inside the room.

"when did you two start dating? i heard you two hating each other's guts and all of a sudden you two 'love' each other?" heeseung asked.

"for your information, we started dating before you even you came to this school. we kept it a secret since we thought it'd be fun." yuri said calmly.

"fun?"

"yeah, we were in a secret relationship so we wanted the risk of getting caught and we both liked it. we just liked the adrenaline rush." yuri explained.
