You'd been staring at the boy from before for a while now. He looked back at you curios why you were so mesmerized. You decide to speak with him.

"hey... I'm [y/n]." you say nervously.

he replied, "I'm... Neil.."

"oh! I heard about you from the other camper, Nikki!" You said with excitement. "You're the science kid aren't you?!-"

"Yeah! I am!" He replied with pride.

"Awesome! finally someone who understands!-"

"WAIT! [y/n], you like science too?!! NO WAY!"

"Yeah! I love astronomy! I have a telescope of my own at my house!" You explain to him.

"WOW! I- I have one here with me... When it gets dark... m-maybe we- we could..." He slurred his words nervously. By now he was all red and sweaty, trying to ask if you-

"Would you like to watch the stars with me when it gets darker [y/n]?" He asked bright red and deathly nervous you'd turn him down.

"great! So... I'll see you then huh?"

Neil pov: I walk away dripping in sweat nervous, and scared for tonight. I'd finally found someone who shared an interest with me! other than... Space kid..
