He knew you his darkness would seep through her yet he wanted her
She knew his darkness would seep into her but her light would out shine it
She knew his darkness would always be there but she stood by him because his love for her out weighed his darkness
She craved him but not to change him
To him he did not deserve her but was thankful she craved him just as much
She saw light were they saw dark
She saw sadness were they saw danger
She looked into his eyes and saw pain
They looked and saw evil
He looked into her eyes and saw happiness
They looked and saw a pretty girl
He saw hope for the first time
He saw light instead of pain
He saw a future
To him she was his soul, body, mind and spirit
He bled she was the bandaid
He worshiped her she nurtured him
For she was not afraid of him but for him
She carried him when he fell
He set her free when she was caged
No one understood them, no one liked him but they were what everyone strived to be
He ruled as king but bowed to his Queen
She ruled as Queen but bowed to her king
With her by his side he was powerful
With him by her side she was powerful
Together they were indestructible
They battled side by side when past, present and future tried to break them
They did not complete each other like a puzzle they embodied each other, intensified each other, we're each other
They were much more than anyone realized
More than they themselves realized
