Seokjin was through his process of making lunch when the front door opened wide. "We are home!" Came from the hallway, letting Seokjin and Soobin knew their parents got back from work.

Soobin squeaked happily and hugged Taehyung as soon as he entered the kitchen. He chuckled and kissed both of his cheeks. "You are not doing that to me dada-" but Seokjin was cut off by his cheeks being squished and kissed by Taehyung.

"How's your day been, sweet pie?" Jeongguk asked and smiled at Soobin. Soobin jumped up and down. He could see the amazement on his little one's face like he was about to burst.

"Daddy, it was amazing! I've met many great kids and I made a new friend!" He announced. Jeongguk raised his eyebrows.

"Really? What's their name?" He asked. He took a seat at the table and let out a sigh. "My body hurts."

"His name is Yeonjun! We had a lot of fun today! We even shared our strawberry cake deserts!" Soobin said. Jeongguk chuckled and pulled him onto his lap. "Come here, big guy." Soobin giggled and burried his face in his neck while hugging him.

"How about you, Seokjin?" Taehyung asked.

Seokjin took off his cooking gloves and put them aside. He took the large plate with home made chicken nuggets and French fries and placed it in the middle of the table.

Taehyung helped him out by taking all of the needed ingredients out of the fridge and placing them on the table. Soobin grabbed the ketchup bottle and poured some into his own plate.

"We had three surprise exams and I did well. Can't say the same for the rest of the class." Seokjin said. He took a seat beside Soobin and his dad and rubbed his hands against his knees. Taehyung placed the warm homemade noodles and rice on the table and sat across the three.

"Why is that?" Taehyung questioned. Seokjin shrugged. "I guess they didn't study anything through the summer holiday.

Jeongguk shook his head and poured the noodles into the plate he was sharing with Soobin. "I wonder how Soobin likes his preschool." He said.

"Namjoon is a great man so our son is in great hands. I don't worry at all." Taehyung said and stuffed a chicken nugget into his mouth. Seokjin frowned.

"I agree with that." Jeongguk said.

"I mean, he always loved kids. And it's Soobin so I'm pretty sure he will take such a good care of him and teach him some clever stuff." Taehyung went on.

Jeongguk could do nothing but agree, since they all went to the same high school and literally knew each other their whole life. Namjoon was among the smartest people and he was a very kind person. Although he was usually shy around everyone, they got along pretty well.

"You..you know Mr. Kim?" Seokjin asked. Taehyung looked at him and nodded.

"Yes. We went to the same high school back in the days. We were also roommates in the dorm. Your dad knows him too." He said.

Seokjin stopped eating and placed his chopsticks on the table. There was a small silence between them but Taehyung broke it. "Why are you asking?"

Seokjin shook his head and picked up his chopsticks. Wait, if his parents know Namjoon and they went to the same high school, then how old does that make him?

"How old is he?" Seokjin asked.

"He is our generation, obviously. He is thirty five, just like both of us are." Taehyung said.

Seokjin choked onto his bite and coughed a few times, earning a concerned stare from Taehyung. He is what now?  Was this some kind of a... Joke? The guy looked nothing older than himself, maybe a couple years older but never in his life did he imagine Mr. Kim being so older than him!
