~Present Time~

Never before had the woman run from any challenge. When she was tortured for information as training, she never gave into the demands. Chrysanthe didn't hear him coming, so she berated herself until she reached her room. Once entering, her senses picked up on another human being in her room.

"Your smell will always be recognizable to me, Achilles. So, why do you hide in the shadows like the predator does with their prey?"

"Ahhh Chrysanthe. You were always my best pupil. So, I hear from my other ears that the Scouting Regiment will be leaving on a mission soon. One to hopefully reclaim Wall Maria. I'm sure you know of the entrance to the underground in the Shiganshina District?"

     "Yes, I do."

"Good. you are to kill your soulmates and reenter the underground once the wall has been uncovered. I will have a small group prepared ready to meet you. Do not disappoint me Chrysanthe."

The woman nodded her head firmly, but her body stayed frozen in the same position as Achilles left. She watched as he paused next to her, his hand coming to lay on her shoulder.

"There are consequences for those who disobey me Chrysanthe. Don't make me have to throw away my favorite weapon." The door shut behind him loudly, the echoes ringing through the room. Chrysanthe moved slowly to sit where Achilles had been sitting, her body falling into the chair with a huff of air. She knew that killing her soulmates would be difficult, but escaping after that would prove to be more complicated. All plans had to be made and settled before the mission started. Which means she only had 12 days to prepare.

Staying in her room for the next 5 days would prove to be hazardous. Historia had tried every threat in the book on the first day to try and get the woman out. After realizing the threats were useless, she took to having different scouts try getting her to exit the confined space. Sometime during the fourth day, someone tried to break in, but the door proved to be unmovable. Chrysanthe had holed herself in her room, the only excuse she had given being she had caught the common cold.

One the fifth day, sometime around noon, Chrysanthe opened the door. She found a soldier standing guard who promptly rushed off once he had seen her face in the doorway. Heaving a sigh, she opened the door completely and followed the guard. Soon the guard opened the door to the palaces' main study, revealing a tired looking Historia sitting at her desk with an equally tired Erwin across from her.

"Chrysanthe." Historia's voice was full of relief. Erwin turned around, also seeming to feel relieved. The woman moved forward, sitting herself in the chair next to Erwin.

"I assume you need me for something."

"Why did you lock yourself in your room for five days?!?! I can only assume you had some sort of sustenance but based on your past I'm assuming you haven't eaten. Not only did you do this, you didn't even let a doctor check you out. I was getting ready to have someone break the wall around your door so we could get to you, in the hopes you hadn't died yet? Do you have anything to say???"

Chrysanthe hung her head, a small pout on her face. She knew if she didn't play guilty it would cause tension in the relationship she had built. Historia heaved a large sigh before turning to Erwin and motioning for him to continue.

"We are prepared to leave now, should you wish. Now that Chrysanthe has exited her room, I can finally offer her my deal." His body turned towards the woman, his blue eyes connecting with familiar reds.

"Chrysanthe, I have some information about your family I'd like to share with you. Once we have sealed Wall Maria, I shall share it with you. But you must earn this information by working with us, not against us. Understood?"
