Chapter 2: Goodbye Harry Potter

    
   Today was the day. The day that we are going to Diagon Ally to get my school supplies for Hogwarts. First, we were going to Gringotts to empty our vault to get money for school supplies. And who did I see there, Hogwarts gameskeeper Rubeus Hagrid with the one and only, Harry Potter. I only caught a glimpse of Harry but the glimpse I saw was worth it.

When we got out of Gringotts, mother went to Madam Malkin's Robes, father went to the Owl Emporium, and I was left alone to go to Ollivander's.

As I was on my way to Ollivander's I bumped into a dark haired girl. "Sorry" I mumbled loud enough for her to hear. "Oh it's okay" she said in a apologizing way." Hello my name is Sofia, Sofia Angelmore" she said happily. "Er my name is Alex, Alex Silvian" I said awkwardly. "Oh umm I got to get to Ollivander's I guess I'll see you at Hogwarts, right" I said happily. Sofia nodded.

       Then I was back on my way to Ollivander's. As I walked into Ollivander's, my brown eyes met a pair of blue ones. "Uh hello my name is Alex" I said very awkwardly reaching out my hand for him to shake. "My names Harry, Harry Potter" Harry said to me. "I wondered when I'd seeing you two here" Ollivander said cracking a smile at us. "Seems like only yesterday your mothers and fathers were here buying their first wands, ah" he said while pulling out two boxes. "Here we are" he said while pulling both wands out of their boxes.  

        "Well give it a wave" he said impatiently. As we both wave the wands dozens of boxes of wands fly off the shelf where we pointed our wands at. "Apparently not" Ollivander said. "Maybe....these" he said whilst handing us each another wand. As we wove our wands a vase shattered into pieces. "No, no, definitely not, no matter"he said reassuringly. He pulled out two more boxes and said " I wonder?" looking back at me and Harry. We were both anxious to see what he was looking at, he finally came back and let us try out the wands. It was like love at first sight for both of us Harry getting holly with a Phoenix feather core, 11". I got Red oak with a Phoenix feather core and 12".

    "Curious, very curious" he said profounded. "Sorry but-" is what I was starting to say before I got interrupted by Harry."What's curious?". "I've remembered every wand that I sold, my children, it so happens that the Phoenix whose tail feathers reside in your wands, gave just one other feather, it is curious that you two should be destined for these wands when it's brother gave you that scar Harry" Ollivander said dully. "And who owned that wand" Harry said stupidly. I looked over to him with wide eyes because of his stupid comment. "We do not speak his name, the wand choses the wizard Mr. Potter, it's not always clear why but I think it is clear that we can expect great things from you two, after all He-who-must-not-be-named did great things, terrible but great".

     I looked at him slightly confused....and a bit scared, "i think it is clear that we can expect great things from you two" kept on repeating in my head. He finally handed us our wands and then I heard a knock at the door. And there was Hagrid holding a Snow White owl. "Happy birthday Harry" he said cheerfully. "Well I guess you've got to go Harry" I said sadly. "Yeah I'll see you at Hogwarts" Harry said in a rush. I nodded back to him.

         Goodbye Harry Potter, I'll see you soon.
