The Sisters of the Red Room | Yelena Belova

Part 4. The mission that freed our conscience.

Y/N POV - point of view.

Burning sensations in the palm of my hands. Like I controlled the fire within my soul but in reality my hands were cut and grazed from what was unfolding. The adrenaline inside me made it feel like merely a burning sensation that could be controlled. And then this thought faded as I snapped back into reality.

"Y/N?! Y/N?!" Yelena shouted towards me, she looked down at me then rapidly back up.

My eyes opened and I sat up, I had been knocked unconscious by a hit off the motorcycle. I took a huge breath of air like I came back to life after dying. I heard Yelena sigh with relief and then I stood up, she tried to help me but I pushed past, slightly wincing from my hands.

"I'm good. Come on." I directed towards Yelena and then started running down the alleyway with my gun now in my hands after I pulled it out of my holster, the leather clasp now flapping open. Yelena followed behind me.

"Connecticut has never been so dangerous." Yelena said jokingly and I looked back at her and smiled.

We exited the alleyway onto a main street and my head rapidly scanned the area. There was a man about to get on his motorcycle but I quickly ran over and pushed him out of the way, grabbing his keys with that, he fell to the ground and before he could get back up. Yelena jumped on the front of the bike and slipped the keys in, I sat behind her with one arm wrapped around her abdomen. The warmth she radiated as I pressed against her body made me shiver but I pushed it off and looked back at the guy who was coming back up to us, waving his hands.

"Sorry! It's for the greater good." I shouted back to him and we rode off. Yelena's eyes centered in front and drove the cycle while my arm was wrapped around her and my other was outstretched with my gun in the air.

I heard static in my earpiece and then talking. "Hurry it up guys, where are you?" Teresa's voice radiated through the earpiece. I lifted my gun hand and pressed it against my temple and spoke. "We are coming now. Had some difficulties."

The rest of the girl's were positioned near the black widow's still under mind control, they were fighting them with defence tactics and positioning them in the centre of a courtyard so Yelena and I could come with the serum's and get them in a group. It sounded easier than it was, 4 girls against 6 black widows who were ruthless and controlled. These were the black widows that the map tracked here, anyone who got in their way was a threat despite Dreykov being dead, the red room was much more expanded.

"Once we are out of this one, maybe we should have a celebratory makeout." I said jokingly towards her, Yelena didn't turn around but her eyes did widen towards the road and she sped up on the cycle.

As we approached the rest of the girl's in the distance, they all had such similar fighting styles that it was hard to determine who was who. The Black Widow's were wearing the traditional black suit and Anastasia, Teresa, Sofia, Georgia and myself were wearing identical suits except more worn down. Yelena was the only one wearing a white suit so you could pick her out from the crowd. The four girls were fighting 6 of the Black Widow's and you could tell they were starting to get put in a corner trying to hold them off as we arrived, I could see Georgia with her gun out shooting shots towards two of them as they started to approach her more. Sofia was going hand to hand with two of them, in a defenceful way, throwing her fists out and blocking their attacks. Leaping and kicking her leg around towards one of their heads.

Teresa and Anastasia were above on a rooftop scoping the area out, keeping the group in a barrier so we had a close shot.

As the bike got closer, once we were in the middle of the group, I leapt off with my gun shooting shots in the air and I landed on the ground in that same pose Natasha often did, flicking my head up. As Yelena swerved the bike and stopped it, she rolled her eyes and yelled out towards me.
