Chap 3

Bailey's POV

I was sitting in the backseat of Dom's car with Jayk. I had to get over my shyness. "Uhm, Dom," I spoke up.

"Yeah?" asked Dom.

"Thank you for helping me," I replied.

"Hey, any friend of my sister's is a friend of mine," Dom replied. "She's helped me many times so I'm helping her when I can."

"You love her," I smiled.

"I do love my sister," Dom replied. "Family means everything to me."

"Driving cars out of planes in the air is a suicide mission," Jayk replied. "Why do you have her do things like that?"

"I lost my girlfriend in a job I had few years back when I met her," Dom replied. "I saw how she can drive and I got her into street racing."

"What kind of car?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" asked Dom.

"Automatic or standard?" I asked.

"Standard," Dom replied. "I trained her. That's how she was able to get to your place before us."

"Well, you have an awesome sister," Jayk replied.

"How do you know her?" Dom asked.

"She's a Juliet," Jayk replied. "That's we call our fans." I was a little sad because it felt as if Jayk had feelings for Alexis. "But that's how we met her. She came to one of our concerts. Though, she's Blake's true Juliet."

"Blake's girlfriend, your sister, is very pretty," I replied.

"Thank you," Dom smiled. "I thought she was with that Denozzo guy..."

"We don't even want to go there," Jayk replied. "She was a wreck. I don't know the whole story but I know she hates him."

"Alexis, hate?" I asked. "But she's so sweet, so nice."

"I didn't even know Alexis knew anything about hate," Dom replied. "I know she knows rage and anger. That's just the emotions that comes with street racing." I sighed. "What all that went down that you know of?"

"I know she called off the wedding because she wasn't the same girl Tony wanted to marry," Jayk replied. "That's about it."

"Well, she should be happy now," I responded. "I see the way Blake looks at her."

"Yeah," Jayk replied. "The way he asked her to be his girlfriend." Jayk smiled. "It was just perfect."

"How'd he ask her?" I asked.

"I think I have a video on my phone," Jayk said. He looked through his phone. "Yeah. I do." He let me watch the video. "The setting was just perfect."

"Blake is such a hopeless romantic," I replied. "Sometimes I wish I had a cute relationship." I sighed as I fiddled with my fingers. "Yet, somehow I ended up with someone who didn't treat me right."

"You wanna know something," Dom replied. "Alexis didn't have such a great guy either." Jayk and I were puzzled. "Yeah, that Tony guy isn't what you think. Sure he's a pain and gets annoying but don't let that NCIS badge fool you."

"I don't get where you're going," Jayk retorted.

"Tony had a record when he was in juvie," Dom replied. "I was shocked that she didn't know."

"How'd you find out?" I asked.

"Brian O'Conner," Dom replied. "LAPD. He wanted to be a detective."
