Chap 8

Blake's POV

"How long is our tour?" I asked sitting in the studio with the guys and Bailey.

"Six, seven, eight months," Drew replied. "Don't worry. We'll be back in time for you to witness the birth of your child."

"When are we leaving?" I asked.

"The end of the week," Drew replied. "Jonnie moved it up." I sighed. "We could've had two weeks but he wanted it to change."

Alexis and Britney walked in. "Hey," I replied as Alexis sat next to me. She leaned on me. "You okay?"

"Yeah," Alexis replied.

"Well, you're not going to like this very well but we're going on tour at the end of the week," I responded. "I know I told you two but it's not two."

"The end of the week?" Alexis asked. "I can't go on tour with you guys then."

"What's going on?" I asked.

"I gotta stay in Austin because I have job interviews I have to attend," Alexis replied.

"Can I stay with you?" Bailey asked. "Help me get over the stage freight?"

"Absolutely," Alexis smiled. "I can help you with that and you'll be good by the time they get back."

"Seriously?" asked Bailey. Alexis nodded. "You are determined, aren't you?"

"Yes, I am," Alexis replied. "But I have to stay in Austin."

"Just keep in contact while I'm on the road," I replied.

"That is on you because I don't know when you're not busy," Alexis replied.

"Okay," I smiled. I kissed her. "I will keep you on the phone."

"I'm going to miss you," Alexis replied. "All of you. Also, Britney, you have to talk to me when you have time."

"I'm going on tour?" asked Britney.

"Well, I didn't want to leave you in Austin," Devin replied. "But you can choose to come or stay."

"Of course, I would go," Britney replied. "You going to be okay, bae?"

"I'll be fine," Alexis replied. "Don't worry about me."

"Alright, have fun," Britney responded and I nodded. "And just be very careful 'cause we love you."

The end of the week came back so fast. Alexis and Bailey dropped us off at the airport. I hugged Alexis. "I'm going to miss you," I stated.

"I'm going to miss you too," Alexis responded. "Come back really soon."

"I'll be back within the blink of an eye," I replied. We were starting to board. "There's my cue." I kissed Alexis. "The three of you take care."

"We'll be fine," Bailey replied.

We boarded the plane. I waved goodbye to Alexis. "I miss her already," I responded as we took off. Seven months passed by so slowly. We were thirty minutes out from the house. "I am ready to be home."

"Almost there," Jayk replied. "Hope Bailey doesn't have stage freight anymore." We pulled into the driveway. "Home."

"Yay," I replied grabbing my bag. I slung it over my shoulder and put the light blue box in my pocket. I walked in through the front door and Alexis walked into the living room from the kitchen. "Wow. You look gorgeous." I kissed her. "As always."
